Legal literacy camp held at Rewari

A special legal literacy camp was organised in Saharanwas village community centre by the Legal Aid Clinic established in Smt. Shanti Devi Law College, Saharanwas, Rewari. While addressing the gathering, Coordinator In charge Legal Aid Clinic, Dr. Raj Kumar Yadav said various programmes being organised by the Legal Aid Clinic established in Smt. Shanti Devi Law College, Saharanwas, Rewari from time to time had been creating awareness among the people, especially those from the rural areas, in legal, literary matters in pragmatic manner. This awareness programme was aimed to inform all the people about the permanent Legal Aid Clinic established in Smt. Shanti Devi Law College, Saharanwas, Rewari, where any needy person may approach to the Legal Aid coordinator Dr. Raj Kumar Yadav, where students will prepare themselves as Ideal lawyers for ensuring equal justice for all. He said the District Legal Services Aid Authority had recently launched legal and literacy awakening programmes through a mobile van covering various villages of the District. Those persons who are having an annual income of below Rs. 1 lakh, Scheduled castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Class, women, children and freedom fighters. Recently this limit has been increased up to 1.5 lakh but notification is not received by the Legal Aid Clinics. This was also demanded in the Legal Literacy Programme establishment of Gram Nyayalaya as it will end all the petty disputes at ground level.
