Introduccin
Naomi 3.0 es un programa de filtrado avanzado de Internet, fcil de usar y totalmente gratis, proyectado para familias y padres en particular. Naomi 3.0 es capaz de supervisar constantemente todas las conexiones de Internet, protegiendo a los nios de material inadecuado en lnea (como contenido obsceno o violento; pornografa y erotismo en forma de imgenes o textos; los sitios que popularizan drogas; sitios de apuestas; terrorismo; propaganda de odio; ocultismo; sectas; blasfemia, etc.) El filtro no confa a una mera lista de sitios prohibidos; en lugar de eso, examina todos los datos que son transmitidos o recibidos desde Internet usando aplicaciones como navegadores web, programas de chat, lectores de noticias, herramientas de comparticin de archivos, y ms. La monitorizacin no est limitada a sitios web, sino que cubre todo el trfico local de Internet. Trabaja con cualquier aplicacin de software, y no cambian sus ajustes. Protegido por contrasea (la contrasea es elegida por el usuario durante la instalacin). La interfaz de usuario es extremadamente fcil de usar. No requiere de configuracin. Puede ser usado sobre conexiones lentas (ya que no realiza ninguna transmisin en segundo plano y no tiene que ponerse en contacto con sitios, proxies, bases de datos, etc.)

Instalando y desinstalando
La instalacin de Naomi 3.0 slo requiere de unos segundos. Usted solamente tiene que ejecutar el archivo de instalacin (setup). Entonces, ser requerido para elegir una contrasea, para prevenir el acceso no autorizado al programa. Esta contrasea es esencial para tener acceso sobre la interfaz del programa, y tambin para desactivarlo o desinstalarlo. Es aconsejable que elija una contrasea que sea difcil de adivinar (p.ej., puede usar letras y nmeros) y recordarlo o guardarlo en un lugar seguro. El programa est ahora listo y comienza inmediatamente la monitorizacin de la actividad. Cuando sea descubierto un potencial acceso a sitios o material inadecuados, la aplicacin empleada ser finalizada. Interfaz de usuario
Para tener acceso a la interfaz de usuario, usted solamente tiene que pulsar dos veces (el botn izquierdo del ratn) sobre el icono en forma de flor cerca del reloj de Windows:

Le preguntar la contrasea que usted ha elegido durante la instalacin. Una vez que usted haya introducido la contrasea exacta, ver el interfaz de usuario. Los siguientes botones estn disponibles: Ocultar: oculta de nuevo la interfaz y sigue monitorizando las conexiones de Internet. Parar: detiene temporalmente el filtrado; el nombre del botn se cambia a "Iniciar". Pulsndolo otra vez comienza de nuevo a filtrar. Desinstalar: deja de filtrar y desinstala definitivamente el filtro.

Precauciones de uso
En algunos casos, es posible que el filtro detecte "falsos positivos", es decir, podra bloquear sitios legtimos.
