El Grado Celsius es la unidad creada por Andrs Celsius (uppsala, Suecia), (17011744).

El Grado Celsius pertenece al sistema internacional de unidades.

Los valores de Celsius se define como c y 100c.

Los intervalos de temperatura expresados en Celsius 1c y en Kelvin (K) tiene el


mismo valor.

Celsius defini su escala en 1742 considerando las temperaturas de imbulucin y


congelacin.

En la actualidad el grado Celsius se define a partir de del siguiente modo: t (c)=T


(K)-273-15.

La escala de Celsius es muy utilizado en el uso cotidiano como: hornos freidoras,


agua caliente. Etc.

Tambin se utiliza en trabajos cientficos y tecnolgicos, aunque muchos casos se


ven obligados a usar la escala de Kelvin.

El smbolo del grado Celsius es un circulito volado () (y no letra (o) seguido de la


letra (c ) que forman un bloque invisible.

El grado Kelvin fue creado por William Thompon Lord Kelvin.

Tambin se utilizan los Kelvin como referencia de la temperatura de calor, Ejemplo:

Este grado esta creado sobre la base de grado Celsius y se representa con una K

Es una de las unidades del sistema Internacional y corresponde a una fraccin


1/273.16 partes de la temperatura del agua.

La escala de los Celsius se define en la actividad en funcin de la escala de Kelvin o


escala absoluta.

El grado Fahrenheit fue propuesto por Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit en 1724.

Fahrenheit nota que el punto de congelacin del agua estaba a los 32F que el
punto de evolucin a los 212F.
El mtodo de definicin es similar a utilizar para el grado Celsius (c).

Fahrenheit noto tambin que el mercurio poda llegar a hervir hasta 600 grados.
