GUIDELINES FOR FINAL TEST Revise your Project and follow the steps below.

Please refer also to the sample of the test for the format.
A. Tentative Title Be clear, precise, and specific Express in your title: your topic and your point of view (plus the title of the literary text and its author) B. Reasons for choosing the topic (avoid personal ones; 3 paragraphs max.) Explain why the topic needs to be studied Explain why the work of literature is suitable to study the topic C. Problem Formulation (Max 3 questions) Begin with text-oriented question (on intrinsic elements of the literary text). The last question should relate to your title and approach. D. Objectives of the Research Explain the objectives of the research in relation to the problems and show the relations between each problem. E. Literature Review 1. Review 3 previous studies: Find information on previous studies. Dont book reviews and use reliable sources. Find information not under book reviews. Skripsi Sarjana Sastra at the library are valuable sources. State how your study is different from the previous studies. 2. Review 3 theories to answer the questions stated in the problem formulation Please keep in mind that a theory is different from an approach. The three theories should be from at least two different categories. If you have three problems, the theories should be used to answer each question. Please keep in mind to review the quotations and not analyzing the work using the theories. F. Approach
