African Development Bank’s Approach
• The AfDB has a Regional Integration Strategy
(RIS) that has two key pillars:
• (i) Regional Infrastructure Development;
• (ii) Institutional Capacity Building
Other cross cutting issues include: cross border
trade facilitation; enhancement of regional
financial infrastructure etc.
