1980: 1985: 1987: 1990: 1996: 2000: 2001: 2001: 2001: 2006: Obtained GCE, University of London Obtained 1st Bachelors degree, Computer Engineering, Ain Shams University, Cairo Started working with Apple Computer Inc. through it's IMC's in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, with focus on development, localization, product training, and QA Started and managed own consultancy firm, providing Apple Computer Inc. with services related to localization, product training, and QA Started operating as a freelance translator in additional fields (Islamic, legal, business, culture, and education) in addition to localization and other technical fields Obtained 2nd Bachelors degree, Islamic Studies and Arabic Linguistics, Azhar University, Cairo Obtained Professional Written Translation certificate from the American University in Cairo Started using CAT tools (Trados and others) Started providing consecutive and simultaneous interpretation services Hired by a governmental agency in Qatar to set up and manage their new translation office in Cairo.
