The Principal (ITIs and Polytechnics as per list) Sub: Continuation of training programme in offered sector in respect of NGOs for the financial year- 2012-2013 under Technical Education Community Outreach Scheme (TECOS). Sir/ Madam , Kindly refer to letter dated 01-02-12 addressed to various NGOs, on the subject cited above. The copy of the same was endorsed to all supervising institutes requesting to send comments with regard to application of NGO and continuation of their services under the scheme. In this regard, I am directed to inform that your supervising Institute has not sent any categorical recommendation/non recommendation in respect of continuation of services of NGO under the scheme. Some of institutes have either not sent any information or have simply forwarded the application of NGO as mentioned in the tables shown hereinafter. Further the competent Authority has directed that following Institutes should categorically recommend/ not - recommend the NGOs for continuation of their Services in the F.Y.2012-13 based on parameters mentioned under the schemes operational guidelines. The competent Authority has desired that Supervising Institutes should reply prior to 20-04-2012 positively. i. Further, this Department vide another letter dated 16.04.12 requested the Principals of Supervising Institutes to send categorical recommendation/non recommendation for the same. Despite various communications, as above with reference to continuation of scheme in the current financial year, no categorical recommendation/non recommendation has been received so far from your institute. In view of above, you are once again requested to send the recommendation/non recommendation, as the case may be, in respect of the NGOs which are working under your jurisdiction along with action plan of the NGO for the next financial year latest by 25th April, 2011.
