RSM Tenon advised Saco Polymers, Inc (Wisconsin, USA) on the acquisition of AEI Compounds Ltd, a unit of TT Electronics plc, a global electronics company for 8.6m providing both lead advisory and transaction services.
With the shared market focus on the wire and cable and PEX plumbing pipe industries, the transaction combined the market leaders in the U.S. and Europe/Middle East in crosslinkable polymers for the wire, cable and pipe sectors. The deal was financed by Centric Commercial Finance, experts in asset-based lending (ABL), who provided facilities to allow Saco Polymers Inc (Wisconsin) to acquire 100% of the shares in AEI Compounds Ltd. In a relatively short period of time Centric gained a clear understanding of Sacos requirements and tailored an ABL facility comprising 3.5m Invoice Discounting and 1m term loan.
