Contributions to Heartland Victory Fund 2012 will be allocated as follows: The first $5,000 of each contribution will be allocated evenly between Feinstein for Senate, Montanans for Tester, Nebraskans for Kerrey, McCaskill for Missouri 2012 and Heidi for Senate. These contributions will be considered designated for the primary election until May 15, 2012 for Nebraskans for Kerrey, June 5, 2012 for Feinstein for Senate, June 5, 2012 for Montanans for Tester, June 12, 2012 for Heidi for Senate and August 7, 2012 for McCaskill for Missouri 2012; after these dates the contributions will be considered designated for the general election. The next $30,800 of each contribution from a person and the next $15,000 of each contribution from a multicandidate committee will be allocated to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, Inc. Any contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant. The allocation formula above may change if any contributor makes a contribution that, when allocated, would exceed the amount that the contributor may lawfully give to any participant.
