Prospective BIDDERs may collect the Tender Documents from the Registrar, Central Institute of Technology (CIT), Kokrajhar or download the Tender Documents from CITs website: www.cit.kokrajhar.in and send along with a DD of Rs.500/- payable at SBI Balagaon in favor of CIT Kokrajhar and submit their offers to The Registrar, CIT, Kokrajhar, Balagaon, Kokrajhar 783370, BTAD, Assam. The tender should be submitted after due compliance with guidelines given in the tender documents. Tenders submitted in incomplete form may be rejected outright. The filled in sealed tenders should be submitted in the Office of CIT Kokrajhar by Registered Post, Speed Post or dropped at the tender box. Tenders received after due date and time shall not be entertained. Tender offer must be accompanied with the EMD of Rs. 20,000/- in the form of bank draft drawn in favor of CIT Kokrajhar. Bids submitted otherwise than the manner prescribed in the Tender document shall be rejected. Tender Calling authority has right to accept or reject the tender (s) without assigning any reason thereof.

Details of Tender:
1. The Tender papers include instructions issued in the Tender notice along with the general guidelines. 2. The manufacture should be an ISO 9001:2000 Certified Company. 3. The tenderers should have valid TIN/VAT registration certificate for supply of above mentioned chairs. The tenderers should submit the following documents. i) Cost of Tender document (in the form of Bank draft) if down loaded from Website and used. ii) Photo copy of TIN/VAT registration certificate iii) Photo copy of the ISO- 9001-2000 certificate iv) Filled up Price Schedule in respect of the items as detailed in Annexure-A v) EMD of Rs. 20,000/-. vi) Dealership certificate ( in case of dealer) 4. The rate should be quoted along with product catalogue. The Purchase Committee will decide model/models as per requirement from the catalogue. If required, the committee may also inspect the model at the showroom. 5. The quoted rates shall be for destination at CIT Kokrajhar and should be inclusive of all taxes, duties, levies, charges, transportation cost, transit insurance cost, installation cost etc. Price written in words shall be accepted in case of any discrepancy. Rates with conditionality or provision of escalation will be rejected. 6. Service station should be located at Kokrajhar/Bongagaon/Guwahati. 7. Validity of period of the Tender shall be 30 days from the date of opening of the price bid. 8. The items are to be delivered in good condition with minimum one year warranty or as prescribed by the company, whichever is longer. 9. If any item fails to satisfy requirement of standards, the item shall not be accepted and the tenderer at his own cost shall remove it from point of delivery. 10. Items are to be delivered within 15 days of issue of purchase order. 11. Submission of sealed tenders can be sent by Registered Post, Speed Post, Courier service or dropped in the tender box. CIT shall not be responsible for postal delays or missing of the documents during transit. Tenders reaching late (as per time mentioned in the Tender Notice) shall not be considered by CIT Kokrajhar. 12. Purchase order shall be sent to the successful tenderer by Post. Tenderers are to furnish their Telephone No. or Fax No. along with the correct postal address. 13. Conditional Tenders shall be rejected. 14. Payment of the bill will be made after receipt of the materials and quality checking.

15. The tenderer shall not raise any claim in any manner after the Bill amounts are cleared against the purchase order. 16. In case of any dispute between the Tenderer and CIT Kokrajhar regarding interpretation of Tender document conditions, the decision of the Purchase committee, CIT shall be final and binding.
