CATECHISTS NEEDED for next year 2012-13. The


Religious Education ministry is looking for wonderful volunteers who are interested in teaching children of the parish in the ways of the Catholic Faith. The potential catechist must be a person of faith who is committed to living the life of our Catholic values and the life of Christ. Also, if you love to work with children you would be a blessing to our program! Catechists are needed in grades 3rd & 4th. A training session will be held late this summer for those who feel they need additional background to teach. Our Religious Education program follows the public school calendar and occurs on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:45a. Please contact Mrs. Schechter, DRE, at religioused@ourladyofvictory.cc or 486-7678.

PROTECTING GODS CHILDREN (PGC) SESSION will be held at Our Lady of Victory on Thursday, August 23, 6:30pm in the PLC. All VOLUNTEERS who wish to help in ministries or programs involving the children of our Parish.VBS, Religious Ed, CLOW, Youth Group, Childrens Choir, etc.must attend this mandatory program. INDIAN HERITAGE DAY: Our Lady of Consolation


Shrine, Carey, OH will be hosting an Indian Heritage Day Sunday, June 10. Mass at 12:00 noon followed with lunch at the Shrine Cafeteria. Concluding with Devotions at 2:30 pm and individual praying. We hope all will consider this invitation to come and pray.

CONVERSATION ON VOCATIONS: The Catholic


Foundation invites you to a Conversation on Vocations on Tuesday, June 5, 2012; 257 E. Broad St., from 6:008:00p. DIOCESAN SENIOR CITIZENS DAY CELEBRATION:


The 35th annual Diocesan Senior Citizens Day Celebration will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at St. Cecilia Church, 434 Norton Road., Columbus. Bishop Frederick F. Campbell will celebrate Mass at 10:30 a.m. Mass will be followed by a luncheon. This annual event is a great opportunity to meet with seniors from around the Catholic Diocese of Columbus. OPEN HOUSE~BIRTHRIGHT OF COLUMBUS is celebrating an Open House on Sunday, June 24, from 2-4p (4766 N. High). The thrift store (4768 N. High) will also be open. This is part of their 40th year anniversary celebration. On Saturday, September 15 from noon to 3p, the annual luncheon with a raffle and silent auction will be held at the Clintonville Womens Club with Louise Summerhill (daughter of the founder) as guest speaker. On October 14, from 2-4p, an Open House will be held at 41 N. Skidmore which replaces the Gay St. Office. It is a charming house across from Holy Family Church. Thanks to all loyal supporters, for it is your prayers, contributions, and volunteers who have helped make Birthright the cherished, much needed pro-life group it is today and has been for 40 years in Columbus. SUMMER SPANISH CLASSES: Registration is now open for the Summer Spanish Course! Adult classes are held
week nights 6:00-7:00p (Beginners) and 7:15-8:15p (Intermediate) at two locations Christ the King in Bexley/Berwick, and PDHC in Worthington. The childrens classes are held weekday mornings 9:30-10:30a (K-3), and 10:45-11:45a (Grades 4-6) at St. Patrick Church, near Columbus State Community College.
