Educating the Romanian society for sustainable living; A concrete, legal and viable alternative of sustainable buildings; Promoting green buildings in Romania; Promoting green technologies, materials and products in the design, construction and building management and facility services; Improving life quality in the field of sustainable living; Cost efficiency in sustainable living; Protecting our habitat by improving the environmental policy.

OBJECTIVES
to organize professional training and retraining courses, seminars and conferences; to collaborate with state authorities in order to develop and improve the sustainable building legislation and its harmonization with European and International legislation; to develop educational and research projects in partnership with national and foreign education institutions; to organize events promoting the concept of sustainable living; to attend national/international events in the field (conferences, etc.); to design and print informative materials regarding the advantages of sustainable living; to design and maintain a website dedicated to sustainable living; to collaborate with authorized certification authorities in the field; to develop codes of good practice regarding the design, building and management of sustainable buildings; to undertake feasibility studies, evaluate and monitor building prototypes in order to accommodate them to the Romanian geographical and economic conditions.

I. TRAINING AND INFORMATION: - newsletter - webminars - workshops - theoretical courses I.1. STRAWBALE BUILDINGS:
OBJECTIVES:

- rehabilitation of 'earth' as a building material; - elaborating technical specifications regarding clay plastering; - setting up a Guild of Clay Plasterers, in accordance with European standards. STEPS: - to organize training workshops on clay plastering, in collaboration with foreign specialists; - to monitor the plastering work done on prototype buildings; - to develop partnerships with European Schools for Clay Plastering; - to design standard courses to support the teaching of clay plastering; - to offer a permanent clay plastering professional course, within an educational center. I.3. GREEN ROOFS:
OBJECTIVES:

- to patent certain materials and techniques specific to Strawbale Buildings and eventually to facilitate obtaining the permits for erecting such buildings; - to elaborate technical specifications regarding SB buildings
STEPS:

- to build prototypes in collaboration with experts, using several techniques - to undertake feasibility studies and monitor the prototypes - to draw conclusions - to obtain and analyze feedback

- to promote an alternative regarding roof construction; - to adapte these techniques to the weather conditions specific to a certain area STEPS: - to build green roofs - to undertake feasibility studies - conclusions; - feedback.
