--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------GRADUATE / PROGRAM ASSISTANT - Student Organizations Job Description General Description: The Graduate / Program Assistants for Student

Organizations will assist with the supervision of student staff and will oversee the implementation of Student Organization programs and initiatives including new student organization approval, contract review, risk management assessment, the re-registration process, the annual Student Organization Executive Retreat, student organization advisor & president trainings and system management of related online systems. Specific Responsibilities:
Co-supervise six undergraduate Student Organization Assistants. Oversee the development & implementation of the on-campus Student Organization Executive Retreat for 100+ organizations. Review student organization contracts as part of the University contract approval process. Assist students with new student organization creation and approval. Assist with related online systems such as OrgSync, the 25Live calendaring approvals, the Event Planning Guide, and the Student Organization Matching system. Participate in Student & Campus Life August training and monthly Staff Development meetings Meet weekly with the interim Director of Student & Campus Life. Responsible for other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications: Previous Student Affairs experience or experience working with college students preferred. Students enrolled in a Masters degree or credential program preferred. Must be available to work between 8am-5pm at least 3 days a week, including either Mondays or Fridays, or both. Applicants who are available to work 4-5 days a week preferred. Occasional evening & weekend hours required. General Information: Hours: 19-39 hours per week (TBD based on applicant availability) Salary: $15.00 per hour Start date: June 15, 2012 End date: December 21, 2012 How to Apply: Position will be open until filled.
