Walkers & Runners

Participants are encouraged to pre-register before the event online at HWR2012.org or bring this completed form to the registration tent the day of the event at Turner Field in the Green Lot. There is no registration fee to walk. However, we suggest a minimum donation of $25 to receive a Hunger Walk/Run t-shirt. 5K runners are required to pay a $25 entry fee and will receive a moisture-wicking Hunger Walk/Run t-shirt. Race numbers will be distributed at the run registration tent the day of the event.

Why We Walk
You can help make a difference! Walk or run to support those less fortunate in your community. Youll be doing something good for people in need, while also enjoying a fun, family-friendly festival including: live entertainment, food vendors, sponsor tents, childrens play zone, inatables, games, educational activities and more. The Hunger Walk/Run raises much needed funds and awareness for six local coalition groups representing hundreds of congregations and hunger relief organizations. These groups operate and support food distribution programs, including child care facilities, food pantries, senior centers, shelters, community kitchens and other essential service providers helping people in need.

Set your goal! The more you are able to raise, the more we can ght hunger. We need your support more than ever. In consideration of acceptance of this entry, I waive any and all claims for myself, and/or my heirs for any injuries I may incur as a result of my participation in the Hunger Walk/Run, thereby releasing all sponsors, volunteers, the Atlanta Community Food Bank, and venues associated with this event from liability: Braves Productions, Inc., Atlanta National League Baseball Club, Inc., City of Atlanta and Fulton County Recreation Authority, City of Atlanta, Georgia, Fulton County, Georgia, Aramark Sports & Entertainment Services, LLC, Imperial Parking (U.S.), Inc., AmeriPark, Inc., and each of their respective parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, and all of their respective directors, officers, shareholders, agents and employees including, without limitation, independent contractors, if any, rendering security services in connection with the Event.
