PRAYER AND PRAISE

Please pray that the Lord would guide the elders in their upcoming board meeting as they discuss avenues for future ministry. Please pray for the Lord's provision and guidance for those in our church family who are looking for new work, or for more work. Please pray that all facets of the new childcare would be done with excellence, and be pleasing to the Lord. Pray for those who heard the gospel during a Dakar Academy soccer outreach in Africa. Pray that all who attended will commit to following Jesus.

Are you new to this facility?

We know that it can take a lot of energy to attend a new church, so please note that: The toilets are located down the passage to the right as you exit the sanctuary. We have a crche available diagonally from the sanctuary should you wish to take your infant out from the service. The Childrens Ministry begins part way through the service. This is for children between the ages of 3 13 years. Information on who we are, as well as on all of our ministries are available online at www.whac.net.nz Each week, we share a cuppa together after the service, and would love for you to stay for a chat.

NEWS
Ministry Evaluations

Pastor Adrian Rogers ........ Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. - John 4:13-14 Have you ever been outside working in your garden or bicycling or playing football and become very thirsty? You go inside and perhaps grab a soda. It tastes great and seems to hit the spot. You return to your activity and you get thirsty and go for another soda. It is satisfying at first, but just doesnt seem to keep you quenched. Finally you fill a tall glass with water and youre satisfied. Why? If you look at the ingredients on the soda container, it says it is artificially coloured and/or flavoured and/or sweetened. It doesnt have that touch of authenticity. There are many who are trying to satisfy their thirst with things that are artificial when what we need is the water of life! When was the last time you quenched your spiritual thirst with the sparkling refreshment of time spent with God? BIRTHDAYS COMING UP .....

As an ongoing part of our church's development and ministry, the Board of Elders will be distributing Ministry Theme: Hearing the Voice of God Evaluation Forms to the congregation for you to fill out and return by Sunday, 3rd June. Please prayerfully Thank you for joining us today and we warmly invite you consider your responses to each question, as they will to stay and enjoy some morning tea. help us to focus some of our energies in the year to If you would like to talk to or pray with an Elder, we come. encourage you to make yourself known to one of the 40 Hour Famine Update Worship Team and they will assist you. Thank you to all the people who have supported me to do the 40 Hour Famine. I have had a wonderful response from people both here at church and at school. With just an hour or two to go, I can say it has been an interesting experience and I am really humbled that I have been given an opportunity to help and make a small difference to a problem that is enormous. Sincerely, Dianne McGowan. The Renovation Begins For years, there has been talk of a Christian childcare operating out of our facility, and slowly but surely, work has been moving along in order to obtain the required consents from the ministry of education, Auckland council, and the church. Finally, we are pleased to announce that the renovation to our facility is slated to begin in mid June.
