INTRODUCTION
Costing and Estimating 1- BSS 518 is a course which provide student dealing with measurement, theory and estimating base on construction, drawing and also rate of prices in construction material and labour. More than that, this coursework aims to provide study on the pre contract and post contract stage of development process which has been teach in last semester teaching plan in cost studies. In another way, this course will provide student with knowledge in the development and who were involved related to this course.

Other, this coursework provide the understanding of the theory part such as feasibility study. It also provides the practice in the development stage which dealing the measurement and estimating for the work process and construction process as well as the selected materials.

In another hand, it also provides the student with a thorough understanding on the important factors to be taken during design stage of the project. For an example the selection of material must be suitable for the project and knowing the overall costing of the project to ensure the project will not be over budget. It also should fulfil the requirements and specifications have been mentions in the contract of document.
