ALOHA Installation Manual

1. Insert CD/DVD installer of ALOHA. If dont have a CD/DVD installer but have a copy of ALOHA file installer, make it an ISO file using ISO Maker software. Then mount it using Daemon tool to make it virtual CD/DVD. 2. Double click CD ( e.g. on my installation the drive is F: ) 3. A window prompts up for Aloha set up then select INSTALL TABLE SERVICE 4. Select TYPICAL INSTALL 5. Aloha configuration window prompts up 6. Source Path Destination Path to calibrate DIR Server name Number of terminals termStr Terminal ID (Note: if you check the Run FOH and BOH on same PC, make sure that the server name is the same as what is computer name ) 7. Checkboxes selection: Run FOH and BOH on same PC Install Aloha EDC Run CTLSVR.exe as a service Run EDCSVR.exe as a service (Optional) Install for demonstration purposes only (demo mode has a limitation Check only the ff: -Install Aloha EDC -Run CTLSVR.exe as a service -Run EDCSVR.exe as a service

8. CTLSVR and EDCSVR service properties Select -Register service as Local 9. Then the security key will prompt up. Just click next until it will finish installation 10. Then dialog box prompt up that will ask you to reboot system. Reboot your system Set up Aloha Manager If you got error when you open the Aloha manager like this error Ctlsvr could not be started, 1. Go to root directory (where the aloha is instaled) 2. Find REGISTER_IBER and UNREGISTER_IBER 3. Once you find it, double click UNREGISTER_IBER then, 4. Register it again. Double click REGISTER_IBER 5. Then, run again the aloha manager How to change the path: If you mistakenly install the Aloha in wrong drive and you want to change the path of the Radiant Heartbeat, you can do this way:
SC CONFIG YourServiceName binPath= "C:\SomeDirectory\YourFile.EXE"
