* Concession fee for Australian citizenship (forms 1300t and 1290) A concession fee is payable by people in receipt of certain Centrelink and Department of Veterans Affairs payments. Centrelink If you have a Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card (PCC) or Health Care Card (HCC) with the relevant payment code listed below, this is generally sufficient evidence of eligibility for a fee concession: a PCC or HCC with one of the following codes AGB, AGE, CAR, DSB, DSP NS, PA, PPP SA, SL, WA, WFA, WFD , , or WID; or a HCC with the code SL and evidence that you have received the SL benefit for at least 46 of the last 52 weeks; or a HCC with the code PA, and evidence that you are the partner of a person who holds: a PCC with code AGB, AGE, CAR, DSB, DSP WFA, , WFD or WID; or a HCC with the code SL and has received the SL benefit for at least 46 of the last 52 weeks. a PCC with the code PPS, and you are aged 60 and over and have been in receipt of PPS payment for 9 months or more. Department of Veterans Affairs Holders of a Pensioner Concession Card for Age Service, Invalidity Service, Income Support Supplement or Partner Service. The Concession Card is generally sufficient evidence of eligibility for a fee concession. ** Fee exemptions for Australian citizenship (forms 1300t and 1290) No fee is payable by British and Maltese former child migrants who came to Australia between 22 September 1947 and 31 December 1967 under the Commonwealth Child Migration Scheme OR persons who have served for 90 days in the permanent forces of the Commonwealth of Australia.

To make a payment, please pay by credit card, debit card, bank cheque or money order made payable to the Department of Immigration and Citizenship. Debit card and credit card are the preferred methods of payment.

Before making a payment outside Australia, please check with the Australian Government office where you intend to lodge your application as to what methods of payment and currencies they can accept and to whom the payment should be made payable.
