Namaskar, Kindly request to take my humble respects and namaskar, I am really a beginner who is interested to learn Astrology, I was going through D20 ( Vimsamsa ) . I am more interested in learning the same. I went though your PDF on Vimsamsa and Upasanamsa, I am having few doubts and questions on the same, in the I would like to know what will happen when 9th house lord ( Ju - Pieces ) is in 6th House ( Sg ), Does it mean that he will have Mantra Bathaka ? and 11th place is by Saturn ( Lord is in Lagna - in Cancer with Ra and kethu). The 5th House is in Sc - Mercury is there. It would really help me, if you can say how exactly the progress in spiritual is afflicted. Dear Dasarathy, Namaskar There is no problem with Jupiter in the sixth house, as Jupiter will never affect the mantra

negatively. With sixth lord there it shows a Guru will be instrumental in removing much ripu in your spiritual practice. Make sure you get Diksha for this to happen. When lagna in D20 is associated with the eleventh house the person sees spirituality as a source of making money.. Normally such people dont go deep into spirituality. Respected visti. According to BPHS PalanDevata is seen from 6th to Amatyakaraka. Can you give explanations WHY from sixth? basically palan is for AK which is the essence of any Jiva. And second thing sixth represents enemy,deasease,debt,fights,resistance in overall. Then why this house is chosen? Is it for to Overcome our past karmas which stops us from getting success or nature of our karma represent which form should be workshipped to get survival? PLEASE EXPLAIN. Regards. 6. Dear Members, Namaskar. Satish The Palana devata are the 10 Digpala who rule the various directions for karma. (first hint = karma therefore karmakaraka = amatyakaraka) The fruits of the dipala are given by their wives of vadhu, also known as digvadhu. The fruits are sources of sustenance for the native. (second hint = second house is sustenance and in navamsa the karakas act as if in the ninth house, i.e. first house is ninth and the second is tenth. Therefore sixth is like second house) The digvadhu maybe the giver of fruits, but the fruits and their amount are all held by the Mahavidya. (third hint = worship the mahavidya of the palana devata to enjoy the fruits of the palana devata) Dasarathy Adhi means first of begining. The first Bhoota/bhuta is Akasha. The first daiva or deva symbolizes the base essence of anything. I.e. the adhi-devata of the Sun is agni, as the essence of the Sun is that its a burning fireball that gives light and heat. Adhi-yagya means the first yagya or deva worship. If we are to interpret it as which devata to worship first then it is Ganesha, but the first yagya of the rgveda is to Agni which holds the place as the first sukta in the same. Dear Satish What Visti Ji Means in the second hint is that since Navamsa is the deeper analysis of the 9th house therefore we treat that the karakas in the Navamsa are as if they were placed in the 9th house. Now we know that house of sustainence is the 2nd house so if the karaka is in the 9th house then the 2nd house is the 6th from the 9th house. Dear Members, Namaskar. Astroyogi I believe i have answered in another post on this forum that it is without a doubt ghrni. Tarun and Satish Tarun is perfectly right. Ive dealt with this point in an upcoming article for the Jyotish Digest vol.2. 2008 (yet unpublished). This point applies to many points in the chart. I.e. the fifth house from Navamsa Lagna can show the appearance of the person, because the Navamsa lagna is like the ninth house, and therefore the fifth therefrom deals with the lagna itself. I have few doubts sir, Venus, Is one of the most important planet to time marriage, If Venus is Neecha in D1 and D9 also its Neecha, It be varga uthama, here Venus also becomes the AK. Will it affect the marriage of a person. Venus here is in Second house ( Lagna Being at leo ) and 7th house is AQ ( Which is un-occupied ). Dear Dasarathy, Namaskar Karaka is the hand of God in our life. Venus represents that hand in relationships, comforts and all sorts of iha-loka sukha (Saravali). So Venus debilitation shows lack of attachment or difficulty in falling in love. But how exactly this manifest depends on the seventh house and lord. See where Venus is placed from the seventh lord and you will be able to see the problem. I.e. in one case where Venus was in the second house from the afflicted seventh lord Mercury the native saw family problems (second house) due to uncles (Mercury afflicted). Dear Visti- Namaste. I listen your lecture & also read some answer to queries posted here. Very nice & accurate answers. I am trying to see curses & all deities signified AK POSITIONS. But want your help for correct answer. These are my chart details. 25nov1966 - 6:45 am {5:30 East of GMT}- 79E06-21N09 The main curse is of spouse i.e. Ven in asc with sun & aspected by sat. Second moon in 6th with rahu , aspected by mar & sat. Moon is also Badhkesh. Third mer in 12th with ketu & aspected by badhakesh moon & rahu. So main remedy will be for VEN, though main effects will be from moon & mer. Asc lord can be workshipped i.e. mars. But mars is involved in cursing moon. So what will be the choice? In 6th lord mars & karaka sat both involved in curse so bhavdevata shiva should be the choice. In 12th, lord ven is cursed ,karaka sat is involved in another curse so should i accept ven for remedy or again shiva? Rahu in 6th with moon shows sarpabadhaka. So my confusion here is SHOULD I accept mar& ven as remedies though they are involved in another curse.If planet linked to remedy is involved in another curse what are the effects Please clarify. Another query is regarding DEVATAS. My AK is sat. In d-9 AK sat is in 9th house , moon & Mer are in 8th so choice for Ishtadevata is radhakrushna or lakshmi narayan .Please do corrections if i am wrong. From AK sat , in 8th mar is Ex he is maheshwara & Sat is Dharmdevata. So choice of DV should be shiva or rudra. From AMK mer 6th is libra having ven+ rahu+jup. So natural choice for Palanadevata is Lakshmi, but should be other choices due to ra& ju ? Should i accept Sarswati here due to Ju? My BK is ven itself so Lakshmi should be the only choice for Gurudevata. Both moon & mer are in TA,Mer amk is in Libra in Rashi chart.So again Ven connectoin is here. So should i consider Lakshmi narayan as Ishtadevata & Dakshinamuthi shiva as Dharmdevata & find palandevata in Ishtadevata. Here main curse is of spouse & two secondary curses are from Mother & relatives. 1- The Planets involved in curse for spouse are indirectly or directly relates to secondary curses. So how to find Remedy? For ven mar can be a remedy but involved in another curse & for mer ven can be a remedy but again another curse. So nono situation. Please explain. Dear Members, Namaskar Satish Based on the following lecture: http://www.srigaruda.com/jaimini-sjc/2007/03/11/lectureon-remedies/ You should have arrived at the worst curse being that of the Moon in the sixth, as it is placed in a Dusthana. Neither dispositor nor karaka for the sixth are well placed hence the worship of Shiva is required in the form of Somanatha (Moon afflicted). Therefore you must worship Somanatha Jyotirlinga to be redeemed from the curse. You should have arrived at the following other Devatas in your chart: Palana Devata: Sri Tara (Venus is in own sign hence others will dominate) Guru Devata: Sri Dakshinamurti (Jupiter-Rahu yoga and Dakshinamurti is the guru who removes the eclipse) Dharma Devata: Sri Hrishikesha (Venus is the strongest planet joining Rahu). The Ishta Devata is Sri Krishna due to the exalted Moon. This can be any form of Devi also, or even Somanath Jyotirlinga, but exaltation normally points towards Vishnu Avatara or

The problem your facing is due to Sakata-yoga occuring with the tenth lord from Moon. To overcome this you need to offer a crown to Sri Krishna and recite the Mukuta-mantra: Om Hari Brahma Vasanaaya namaH| Begin this from a Thursday morning and recite it 5108 times a day. Regarding Palandevata & Gurudevata why ven in own house is leftout though we consider him strong? How others dominate when lord is strong & whats the logic behind that? Jup is in enemies house with his another enemy still you go for Tara? PLEASE CLRIFY. Here is one case.

Lot of debt at present but due to suns fine job now setteled in life.All cursed planets except jup.Kalatrashapa in 3 house with Matrushapa in 11th.Both in dusthana & equally cursed.
