A guide to Immigration New Zealands fees
This guide provides information about the fees Immigration New Zealand (INZ) charges for processing your application/registration, who has to pay fees and how to pay. If we decline your application or registration, we will not refund the fee. The processing cost is the same whether or not we approve your application/registration.
Receiving office The relevant receiving office is the location of the INZ office, New Zealand Embassy, or High Commission that is responsible for processing your application. See the office and fees finder at www.immigration.govt.nz/fees for further information. Example of an application lodged inside New Zealand If you are physically present in New Zealand at the time you lodge your application, it will be processed in New Zealand. See the fees in Column A of the fees table on pages 7 to 10. Example 1 A citizen of the United States of America physically present in New Zealand applying for a residence class visa under the Skilled Migrant Category pays NZ$1,550. Because the applicant is in New Zealand, they pay the fee in column A. July 2011
