CHAIRMANS MESSAGE

Staff nurses play a major role in improvement of Health and Family welfare services. They are a vital link in National Rural Health Mission, launched by Government of India and are a back-bone in providing post-operative services. They are prime-care providers. Nursing has always been considered a very noble and respectful profession and an important link between Doctor and a patient. Hospitals with shortage of nurses run the risk of Medical negligence with serious consequences. Nurses are in great demand not only in hospitals, nursing homes, nursing schools and colleges but in domiciliary care of bed-ridden patients. I take this opportunity to accord a cordial welcome to all the students of the institute. I wish you success in your life and assure you full facilities and co-operation.

Dr. ASHOK GUPTA
