They have too little memory space. The software requires at least 570K free Main memory space. To check how much space you have available, enter the command a chkdsk. After this program appears on the screen the following message: bytes total disk space xxxxxxx xxxxxxxxx xx bytes in directories xxxxxxxxxxx at xxx bytes userfiles xxxxxxxxxxx bytes available on disk xxxxxx bytes total (total memory) xxxxxx bytes free (free memory) To start the MAHO software is the one in the last line number (free memory) important. Here you have to at least 570 000 bytes are available. This is not the case, check the main directory the file "config.sys". Therein included statements such as "buffers =" or "files =" might be too large and thus the Main memory capacity decrease. Likewise, drivers (for mouse, etc.), in the file "Config.sys" or loaded "autoexec.bat" to reduce the memory capacity. If necessary, you should change these files with a text editor. Page 4 2004, Sander Information Systems GmbH, Holzwickede Operation overview MAHO CNC432/F700 4 INTRODUCTION Scope This section of the manual presents a brief overview, in which parts The software "MAHO CNC432" differs from the original control. Recorded both the points that go beyond the original controller, but the content that makes the software. Modifications compared to the original control - Graphics The presentation of the G18 plane is in the software other than on the machine b y 90 Degrees rotated .. The color in the bar graph is for the G0-movements have been changed, it appears in the Software as a red dashed line at the controller as a green dashed line. - Constant memory The software is no difference between the modes OPERA-MC and MC-EDIT made. The machine constants can always be edited. - Special keys These are keys that used to computer software for special functions , however, are at the original control exclusively for operating the machine are needed. in the lower right quadrant of the keyboard This button displays the contents of the "Trans"-Directory. This directory is us ed to Transmission of individual programs which are read into the program memory of can be or can be copied from there into the transport directory. in the left lower quadrant of the keyboard This button terminates the software after a run with saving all the data. What more can the software - Trans-Directory Behind this term refers to a directory in / from the data in foreign Transport software packages / in the MAHO software. -Comment form The comment is entered in this case on the PC keyboard. A detailed description such comments can be entered, see the section "Program "Change of this manual. - Print

All programs can be printed in both listings, but also as a drawing (see Chapter "Printing / data transfer"). In addition to the output of the programs on a graphics-capable dot matrix print ers, the Drawings are also output to a plotter (see "Printing / data "transfer). Page 1 2004, Sander Information Systems GmbH, Holzwickede Operation overview MAHO CNC432/F700 - Graphics In the graphical simulation it is possible after 1 By running the program a Making second start for the simulation without cutter radius compensation. What the software can not - The "reset axis" has been implemented. - The initial image "reference point" is not used. The axes be set only 'pro forma'. - The test run 3 is not implemented. - Similarly, the functions are not teach-in, playback, and the measurement cycle s implemented because they are not relevant for the simulation. Keyboard Overview This image shows a true reflection of the MAHO CNC432 control keyboard. The oper ation The software is on such a replica. Important key functions In the following explanation of some keys that are needed in the software over a nd over: Soft keys, depending on the status of the software have a different meaning. The importance of the keys is displayed in the last line of the screen through a toolbar: Example: Each selectable function is shown in reverse. 2004, Sander Information Systems GmbH, Holzwickede Operation overview MAHO CNC432/F700 The controller also has other menus in the PC software used but not and therefore can not be implemented. 6 PROGRAMMING General The CNC432/F700 used as an input option, the address notation, ie each Program word of a sentence consists of an address letters (eg X) and a multi-digit number (eg 100). Leading zeros in the address field can be omitted, as nachstelllige Zeros after the decimal point: X100.000 can be written X100 The first word of a sentence must always set the number 'N' be. It can record an y number be within a program always used only once, the order is arbitrary. After creating a program, the first record number is displayed directly editing the The programs can be started immediately with the G-function. Upon completion of a Set is generated, the next succeeding record number of the control automatically : On N123 N124 sentence follows automatically. The program number can be up to 7 digi ts (up to 9999999). Unlike the V500-control software can handle the F700 control Also entering program numbers <9000 and record numbers> 9000th As part of both programs is called the main programs and subprograms. Main and sub-programs differ only in memory of your identification: Main programs (PM) in the main program memory, subroutines (MM) entered in the sub-program memory and the software / control each and there managed. They mean: PM program memory MM macro-Memory In the editor, this identifier is published in the 2.Bildschirmzeile before the actual programNumber. Program input Since the entry of major and minor programs is identical, in this manual only in a short section (Section 6.3) to the opening and calling subroutines been received. When entering the main or sub-programs is first and foremost on the status of Mode (screen line 1) to respect. Can be edited in the PC software in the operating modes MANUAL MAN.OPER. SINGLE or AUTO GRAPHIC Please note: In 'N-SEARCH' can not be edited. The next section will now first opening a new main program described. As an example program, the program 'N9992' is selected. 10 DATA TRANSFER / PRINT General If you want to take the DNC to the machine, you should always make sure Take care that in the constant memory of the machine and the PC constants 770-77 6 are set correctly. We recommend the following settings: Constant meaning the PC to the machine N770 V24 Interface Assignment 1 or 2 0 N771 output code 1 (= ISO) 1 (= ISO) N772 Automatic code detection 0 0 N773 transfer protocol 0 (RTS) 0 (RTS) N774 header / trailer 30 30 N775 Number of stop bits 1 1 N776 Read baud rate / read 2400 2400 NOTE: The baud rate constants in the N776 is only an example. Baud rates up 9600 provide for the transfer of any problems. Also important for the transmissi on N799 is the constant that determines which programs (program numbers> N9000 or transferred from N1). If you have checked both the machine and the PC this data, you should have with the DNC no difficulties. Then there any difficulties can be used with the Cables are connected. For this, we can not give any general advice, since the commercially available RS232 interfaces are not standardized. To review, we give you in the following Representation of an assignment of the data cable. left: PC cable with DB25 connector right: machine with cable connector

Offsets Print At the end of the simulation (end of program: M30), you can print the graphic. T he Printing is connected to a graphics-capable matrix printer via the parallel Port on your computer is controlled. Before now, the following steps to Follow print your data, you should make sure that the printer is actually connec ted is. By default, an Epson-compatible printer is set. If you have another Printer use, please see the following list: Epson or compatible FX/FX85 prtdef.eps Siemens PT88 prtdef.pt8 Panasonic KX1090 KX1092 or prtdef.pan IBM graphics printer prtdef.eps IBM Graphics Printer II prtdef.ib2 IBM 5202 Thermal Printer prtdef.i52 NEC P6 prtdef.nec Okidata Microline Elite / 182/192 prtdef.pan C.ITOH prtdef.eps Riteman II prtdef.eps Star prtdef.eps Mannesmann Tally prtdef.eps Nixdorf printers prtdef.nix Behind the printer name we have listed the corresponding printer adjustment, the supplied by us on the disk, and wherein the software is installed on well with the disk is copied. Over the years, we have over here listed printer drivers developed. Please, ask. Most drivers are on your installation diskette. Find the printer you are using in the above list, you can this quite easily connect to the software. After you have restarted your compute r, first turn to the directory where the software is installed. Enter the Commands cd m700 <RETURN> one. You are now in the correct directory. Page 4 2004, Sander Information Systems GmbH, Holzwickede Data transmission MAHO CNC432/F700 Now select from the list of your printers and copy the correct printer adjustmen t into the software. Example: You have a NEC P6 printer. Enter the copy command: copy prtdef.nec prtdef.mah After the copy operation is complete (message: 1 file (s) copied / 1 file (s) co pied) switch with the command cd \ back to the main directory. The next time you start the software, you can then print correctly. If you have a printer that is not listed, please call us. We be glad to help. Print the graph Appears after the first run of the simulation in line on the screen 24 under the softOccupancy of the F2 text "OUTPUT". Behind another softkey menu appears with the Options F1 (PRINT) output to the printer F2 (PLOT) output to the plotter

Now to print the graphic, press the F1 key. The expression of the graphic starts . Upon completion of printing, you can stop the simulation as usual. Printing of program listings Select the main program or subroutine numbers numbers-list. There, looking Use the cursor control keys for the program whose listing you want to print. Then press the button "DATA I / O" appears on the screen, the "DATA I / O MENU ". Now press the 6 key on the numeric keypad. The listing of the selected Program will be printed. Plotting Plotting the graph is possible after the end of the simulation. The call for the plotter is the MAHO keyboard similar to the call of printing via the function keys. This, press the function key bar shown above the F2 key (PLOT). The plot begins when you press the button. The plotter pens 1 and 2 are used to draw the axis of the cross and the blank. The choice of the plotter pens 3-6 in cycles over the tool invocation. Examples: T1 pin 3 T2 pin 4 T3 pin 5 T4 pin 6 T5 pin 3, etc. The commands correspond to the plotters of the HPGL language and are on an HP 74 75A Plotters tested. The plotter can be either on the serial port COM1: or COM2: to be connected. 11 CONTOUR MILLING CYCLE BAG General The contour pocket milling cycle, the actual expansion of the F700-control softw are dar. This cycle can be any pockets of lines and circles milled be. The controller determines, depending on the shape and position of the pockets an d islands, one or more Starting points for milling. Since these starting points may be pre-drilled have, this operation by the programmer to call a separately designated Macros are provided. Then, the macros for the Calculated execution, and only if all macros are computed and stored begins the processing of the contour. Notes: * The bag must be closed contour. * Covers the end of the description of the contour is not down with the G203 programmed starting point, between two points a linear path assumed.

* G63 and G64 can only be used with absolute coordinates. * If points are used, the definition, then the points before calling be defined by G200. * The post-processing a contour is in the same direction as the Description of the contour. * The construction of a contour pocket-program must ensure that all operations can run a properly-follow fixed order: Program Structure % PM N99901 N1 G17 .... M30 Page 1 2004, Sander Information Systems GmbH, Holzwickede Contour pouch MAHO CNC432/F700 Explanation of functions G200 In the case of the emergence of function in a program to further G200 pocket fun ctions sought. The function of G200 is the "trigger" of a contour pocket milling cycle and must be alone in a Block. Is found after the function G200 G201, then a pocket macro for the auszurumende Pocket generated. The following information is required: N record number G 201 the beginning of a contour pouch Y machining allowance Z pocket depth (total) B clearance Tool radius R I average width of the cutter in% J synchronous / counter-rotation K infeed F Feed N1 = number macro N2 = starting point of macro-number F2 = feed for feeding

When processing the workpiece at the rate charged for that location (starting po int) The pocket is milled. With N1 = the number macro is defined, in which the contour is stored. With N 2 = the macro number is determined from which the calculated initial poin ts for the further processing to be undertaken. This number must correspond to G22 (after G81 drilling) programmed macro number must be identical. G203 The actual description of the contour auszurumenden G203 starts with the G-functi on. Within the G203-set is the first point of the contour is programmed. In the foll owing Rates are set to further contour points. The starting point of the contour pouch has an absolute value, based on the Prog ram Zero start. An indication of this point of polar coordinates is also permitted. The following addresses are required: N record number G203 beginning of the contour pocket End point coordinate X in X Y end point coordinate in the Y End point coordinate Z in Z P points defined number N1 = number of macro rework, if not programmed, a macro generates B1 = angle B2 = polar angle L2 = length of polar Other addresses are in a G203-set is not allowed. G204 Page 2 2004, Sander Information Systems GmbH, Holzwickede Contour pouch MAHO CNC432/F700 The function of G204 is the end of the contour pocket description. The function has only in a block. G205 and G206 G205 and G206 with the functions are islands within the pocket auszurumenden are to be retained is limited. G205 describes the first contour point of an island. For the determination of th e points the same conditions as the function G203. The only additional condition: It must not be programmed tool axis. The calculation will be based on the contour surface. When The island stands out, this can be entered in the G201-B-word sentence under the be. All describe the following sentences after the G205 contour points of the island . G206 completes the description and sets the end of the island description. G206 stands alone in a sentence. G202 The function of G202 terminates the processing of the entire contour pouch. In this list the printer drivers you will find that we have developed new, therefore not included in the above section are listed. PRTDEF.HP for HP Thinkjet PRTDEF.HP1 for HP Laserjet PRTDEF.HPF for HP Deskjet (color printer) PRTDEF.I52 for IBM 5202 PRTDEF.IB2 for IBM Graphics Printer 2 PRTDEF.NEC for NEC P6 PRTDEF.NIX for Nixdorf ND31, ND33 PRTDEF.OKI Oki Lase Line Panasonic KX PRTDEF.PAN for 1092 and similar PRTDEF.PRO for IBM Proprinter PRTDEF.MAH: active printer for the software Use of extended memory For the duration of the software, the use of XMS memory is useful. For optimum operability for these types of software, you should consider when se tting your Eighth "config.sys" file that the XMS memory is accessed correctly. To are mostly the following settings in the CONFIG.SYS file, add (in the example File in bold!): Example config.sys: DEVICE = C: \ DOS \ SETVER.EXE DEVICE = C: \ DOS \ HIMEM.SYS / NUMHANDLES = 127 DOS = HIGH SHELL = C: \ DOS \ COMMAND.COM C: \ DOS \ / p BREAK = ON FILES = 50 LAST DRIVE = e COUNTRY = 049, C: \ DOS \ COUNTRY.SYS Page 1 2006, Sander Information Systems GmbH, Holzwickede Tips and tricks MAHO CNC432/F700 STACKS = 9,256 BUFFERS = 50 Please, be careful: The information on hard drives (C here) and paths (such as D OS, etc.) are example only. Before you make the entries in your config file, make sure the directory and on which disk the required file . are Customization of the software Adaptation of individual simulation parameters To adjust the speed and graphics of other individual simulation parameters are In the main directory of the software program SONDERFK After calling this program will be presented in succession the following questio ns: CRC: expected radius from MEMORY TOOL or use only for TESTRUN-7 graphics? G41 evaluate, G42? (J) G43 evaluate, G44? (J) ' By default, the cutter radius is also used for contour calculation. Is it But the case that you want to simulate programs (eg when a Program generator system) come already calculated the cutter radius compensation have allowed the simulation of the CRC no longer be included. In this Case, please answer the above question is NO. The MEMORY TOOL entered in the Radius value is then in the simulation "only" for the representation of the mill ing cutter used.

G92 with B4 = X and let Y? (J) This is addressed in most control systems already approved and in the Software by default is "Enabled" state. Do you want to address this , you can turn off this question with an 'N' Computer restart after error-abort? (J) After a serious software error, the software is terminated. If after the computer to restart, skip this question. G1-simulation speed (13 <100) G2/3-Simulation-Geschwindigkeit (40 <150) Here you can change by typing in values, the speed of the simulation. The smaller the number is, the lower the simulation speed. It is considered here, however, that at higher values ??the Circular resolution in the representation is inaccurate. It is better to put them to adjust the simulation speed to the value time lag between the time a block change: Delay in exchange rate (0 <180 in 1/18 seconds) The simulation speed (this is especially true for fast computers) can be best to influence change in this value. By default, the value This is 1 (high speed (= 1/18 seconds between sets)) is set. The higher the value set here, the greater the time between two sets Page 2 2006, Sander Information Systems GmbH, Holzwickede Tips and tricks MAHO CNC432/F700 is maintained. So using the higher the value, the lower (optical) also the speed of the simulation. PROGMEM-back simulation at (j) By default, before each simulation, the program memory of the software is stored . Do you want to disable this feature, please answer the question with NO. In this case the programs can only be saved when you exit the software. Installation aids CNC432/F700 as an upgrade To install the software, please follow the appropriate section of the supplied Manual. In addition to the installation, it is described there for the ability to run th e program necessary to install the included dongle. You can follow the following Instructions. Installing the hardware Prerequisite for the functioning of the program is included license dongle. The means that the dongle must be plugged in before starting the software, and should remain attached during the entire term of the software. Plug the dongle that is on the parallel port (printer port) of your Computer. It is plugged with the plug side (pins) on the interface. Then you can plug your printer cable to the dongle. The functions of the printer are not affected by the dongle. IMPORTANT: If the dongle is connected to a printer, it must be switched this and ready Be (= ONLINE). With hardware-software interprets the limitations an off printer dongle as missing and not running up. Also make sure that your printer has enough paper, as well as out of paper on a printer OFFLINE. If you have questions or problems with the handling or running with the ability to give us a call. We are happy to help. Adjustment of the keyboard This step is necessary if the software be run on fast computers should. If when you first start the software keyboard is not recognized, you sta rt in Root directory of the F700 software program please

TADJUST This prolongs the waiting time of the software for recognizing the keyboard. Aft er the start This program prompts you to enter a number between 1 and 4999th As a rule of thumb: The higher the number, the longer the waiting time for disco very. Enter thus initially a very high number to ensure that the keyboard at the Interface is detected. If you have then after restarting the F700 software found that the keyboard is detected, you can restart the TADJUSTProgram, this waiting time by several attempts at the necessary level "scale dow n". Enter a value lower than the previous run of the program. Try until you find a value that the waiting time for the limited most necessary, but ensures a reliable detection of the keyboard interfa ce.
