Chardonnay JC
I know Dowina guitars from their birth. Im probably one of the first people that started using them. I carefully watch the journey of Petko Marinov, the spiritual father of the guitars and I look forward to what will be next for him. I play a 2-year-old model D 999, but I have to say, that the new series, Chardonnay, surpassed all my expectations, and I already look forward to pick out another masterpiece.
I send my kindest regards to Petko Marinov, that he allowed me to have such a guitar!
My Dowina is balanced in every aspect, it reacts fast, has a comfortable ergonomic design of the neck and fingerboard. Electronics truly depicts the wood-sound. Im especially impressed by the perfect tuning. My first instrument is the violin, but this guitar gave me back my passion to play and the desire to be better. It is a universal guitar, for solos and also for chord playing.
What really fascinates me about the Dowina Chardonnay JCE is its perfect tuning. In no position do I find tones, which would evoke the sense of not tuned.
Brilliant guitar for the podium, in the studio, finally I have a real instrument to play, thanks!
This is exactly the guitar I need for when playing live and in the studio. Judge for yourself good tuning, low action, comfortable neck and its slim cross-section, tonally full sound with excellent bass strings, comfortable when playing with fingers and even backlight, easy sounding I tried to record in the studio some samples with the AKG 414 and C 3000B microphones great sound without the use of a compressor. This guitar acts like a professional, except for, its 3 times cheaper.
The Dowina guitars by the Marris Company are for me a big surprise in the most positive way. Instruments tuning is excellent. Aesthetically they satisfy the eye. The cedar top, made here in Slovakia gives the guitar a very nice balanced character. I am the owner of super-jumbo Chardonnay JCE, which is enriched with the electro-acoustic B-Band system, which in opposite to the classic piezzo means a qualitative step toward the natural sound of the acoustic guitar. I need such a guitar for work in the studio but also for live performances and Im glad, that I finally own an instrument, which perfectly fulfills my requirements.
