Final Year Project

Solar Data Logger: Determines how much solar power can be produced from the available sunlight (solar insulation) at a location. - To build a voltage regulator to charge a 12V battery from a 25W solar panel. - To power the circuit through a 12V dry cell battery. - Implementation of I2C protocol through pic 16f877 to run multiple devices. Aim of this project is to help determine the best location and optimal tilt for the solar panels to calculate solar power at regular interval of time and storing it in a flash drive.
