Dear All Bhagavathas by the grace of Aacharyans.. the 14 Residential camp at Sri Ahobila Mutt has been conducted successfully from 29-4-12 to 3-05-12. I had the Bhagyam of being a participant of this camp.Kindly read and share the camp report. CAMP REPORT-14TH RESIDENTIAL CAMP AT SRI AHOBILA MUTT:The 14th Residential camp conducted by SRI AHOBILA MUTT was held at Sri Ahobila Mutt temple,DD Colony, Nallakunta from 29-04-12 to 03-05-12.Childern from various parts of the city and from Bangalore and Chennai took part in this camp.About 70 students within agegroup of 5-20 took part in this residential camp.The main objective of the camp is to impart spiritual values and moral education coupled with ethicks through "SatSang"(Devoitional Gathering).All the participants of the camp were taught Vaalmeeki Raamaayanam;and they were asked questions on it.Childern were asked to perform skits on the great Vaishnava saint Raamanuja and on Ramayanam.Sri U.Ve.E.S.Mukundan ensured that every child learnt Vaalmeeki Raamaayanam, considering the fact that these days many children do not know our ethics andd epics.The other important activity was that the children were taught various slokas and Bhajans.Children were deeply involved in these activities which made them mentally strong.Physical exercises,Yoga,spiritual education,solving puzzles were other activities which involved children.P Srinivaasan,Manager, Sri Ahobila Mutt ensured that the children were fed time to time regularly. Students were provided delicious Nrusimha Prasadam cooked in the deity kitchen by Sri Srinivas, Sri Parthasarathy.Sri Ramesh and SriSathish. All the children were happy to attend this camp.Parents ensured that their wards would attend the camp the next time.Prizes were sponsored by Sri Sudheer, Sri Balaji Ankem, Sri Raghavachary, Sri Gopaalachary, & Smt Vanita Varadarajan.Certificates were distributed by Sri Raghavan, Vice President, Sri Ahobila Mutt, Hyderabad.Sri U.Ve.E.S.Mukundan Swamin also thanked H.H.Srimad Andavan, for directing him in conducting these camps and H.H.Srimad Azhagiyasinghars for blessing him in doing such kainkaryams.
