I understand El Paso. I grew up in a family that valued hard work and believed the road to success was education. From my humble upbringings in Canutillo, my family instilled in me a culture of high expectations that lead to public service and a business degree from UTEP. I am an elected official that wants to do what is right for El Paso. I am willing to roll up my sleeves and get to work on behalf of the people of El Paso. As a public servant with 7 years of experience, I have overseen a $40 million budget that employed 1,000 El Pasoans. My work helped bring fiscal stability and academic attainment to 6,000 students through policies of open government and transparency that garnered state and national recognition for Canutillo ISD. My work has lead to my appointments in numerous local and state leadership positions. As the Governmental Affairs and Communications Director for the Greater El Paso Association of REALTORS, I have worked to secure the American Dream of homeownership for all El Pasoans.
Yo entiendo a El Paso. Crec en una familia que siempre valor el trabajar arduamente y que cree el camino al xito es la educacin. Desde mi humilde origen en Canutillo, mi familia me inculc una cultura de altas expectativas que me motivaron a una carrera en servicio pblico y una Licenciatura en Negocios de UTEP. Soy de una nueva generacin de funcionarios electos. Estoy ms que comprometido a marcar una diferencia... estoy dispuesto a poner manos a la obra y ponerme a trabajar en favor del pueblo de El Paso. Como servidor pblico, con 7 aos de experiencia, he supervisado un presupuesto de 40 millones de dlares, empleando a mil Paseos. Mi trabajo contribuy a la estabilidad fiscal y el logro acadmico de seis mil estudiantes mediante polticas de gobierno abierto y transparencia que lograron reconocimiento estatal y nacional para el Distrito Escolar Independiente de Canutillo. Mi trabajo me ha ganado nombramientos en mltiples posiciones de liderazgo, tanto locales como estatales. Como Director de Comunicaciones y Asuntos Guber namentales de la asociacin Greater El Paso Association of REALTORS (Asociacin de Agentes Inmobiliarios en El Paso), he trabajado para asegurar que todos los Paseos alcancen el sueo americano de tener casa propia.
