This mode is used to store, organize, browse and otherwise enjoy your photos
or projects. You can also share your photo or project albums in many different
ways. For example, iMira, e-mail, Kodak PhotoNetonline or Gift Service.

To open an image from Browse mode:


1. Select the image you want to open in the workspace.
2. Double click the image or click

from the shortcut bar.

3. You can also select File: Open - Open Photo or [Ctrl + O] then select the
image you want opened in the workspace.
4. If you have opened an image in the workspace before, you can open it
again by double clicking its image in the Thumbnail Strip.

1.2 Photo mode:-

This is where you will do most of your work. All of the standard tools found in
any good image editor can be found here, as well as many advanced features
unique to Photo Express. You can open, adjust, paint, add text, create special
effects, save and print your images here.

To open an image from Photo mode:


1. Click Get Photo - My Computer on the toolbar.
2. You can also select File: Open - Open Photo or [Ctrl + O] then select the
image you want opened in the workspace.
3. If you have opened an image in the workspace before, you can open it
again in the workspace by double clicking its image in the Thumbnail
Strip.

1.3 Project mode:This is where you can produce amazing and attractive creations. You dont have to worry if
you dont have any photos ready at the moment.

Note: You can select multiple images to be opened in the workspace.


However, the last selected image will be the only one displayed in the
workspace. The other images will first be put in the Thumbnail Strip below the
workspace where you can access them by double clicking the image.

1.4 Templates and objects:-

Photo Express projects make extensive use of templates. These templates


each contain a number of discrete elements like text, an image, a frame and
maybe a background. These elements are referred to as objects and can be
moved and modified independently. This is, of course, incredibly easy and
intuitive, but you have to remember that this is a special image file format
that cannot be used by other programs. When you want to save or export your
projects, you will need to change the format to one that can be used by other
programs (i.e. JPG, GIF or BMP). Object information will no longer be available
in the new format.
