Range
The worlds first front fitting modular system of British Wiring accessories, designed for maximum installer versatility, specifier reliability and end user safety. The flush mounted range includes 13A switched and unswitched socket outlets, connection units, modular light switches plus specialist communication modules and IHC inserts. The range is moulded from a high impact polycarbonate formulated exclusively for Square D, giving a contemporary gloss finish that is stylish while being extremely wear resistant in all domestic situations. A range of eight high quality finishes are available for the cover plates including: silver, gold, satin effect gold, white and magnolia which make the possibilities to change and adapt the plates endless.
37
It includes the following: s ACBs - Masterpact air circuit breakers s MCCBs - Compact moulded case circuit breakers s MCBs - Miniature circuit breakers
Applications
Large load feeder circuit breakers for main incoming power.
Ease of installation
With optimised sizes, the Masterpact NW range simplifies the design of the switchboard selection and installation of devices: s s s s Only three connection layouts, one from 800 to 3200A, one for 4000A and one from 4000 to 6300A Identical connection terminals from 800 to 6300A Front connections that do not impact on the depth of the device Rear connections, that are converted from vertical to horizontal busbars 3200A by simply turning the connectors through 90 degrees
Innovation
s The patented new design of the arc chutes includes a stainless steel filter. The chutes absorb the released energy during breaking and short circuit clearance, thus limiting the stresses exerted of the installation The automatic unlatching of the circuit breaker operating mechanism for high short circuits extends the breaking capacity to 150kA, offering high breaking capacity coupled with high levels of discrimination up to 65kA

Compact NS
Application
MCCBs are designed to limit stresses and provide co-ordinated protection with upstream and downstream LV distribution equipment. They are typically mounted relatively close to the source of supply in main switchboards, panelboards and control cabinets, therefore short circuit currents can still reach levels of up to100kA. In view of this MCCBs must open and break the current as quickly as possible due to the requirement to reduce as far as possible the electrical and mechanical stresses on the cables and the connected load.

Increased savings
With a PowerLogic system we encourage you to think below the surface for additional savings. By installing a PowerLogic system and managing the resource you can realise a 5% reduction in utility costs but this is just the tip of the iceberg. Looking beyond the utility bill or below the surface can derive major savings using a PowerLogic system. Typically, an additional 5% can be saved through improved equipment utilisation, avoiding unnecessary capital purchases. As much as 10% further savings can be gained by improving power system reliability.
