The course starts with a question - 'What is Graphic Design?'. We spend three years investigating the role of the Graphic Designer as a problem solver, creative thinker and professional practitioner. We investigate solving problems of communication through type and image. We consider how productionand distribution impact on the work we produce or propose. We consider what we want to say, to whom and why? We ask what is it to be professional? After three years we all have our own answer...THIS IS GRAPHIC DESIGN?
