Amdocs Pas3 Subject Matter Expert Aug2011-till date Project Scope: A champ is a ticketing system used by CMI. Based on Clarify CRM it tracks internal and external tickets that are opened in case of system errors that are handled by GSS. The system is one of the sources in GSS BI project that called PAS.The aim of the PAS project and the ticketing system a part of it is to give the users the ability to analyze the data in a suitable and flexible environment. Today every site has its own ticketing system; in the future UTS will replace all the local ticketing systems.

BI Admin Activities:

Created the sources and targets according to EA tool definitions and placed them into the Informatica development shared folder. Deployed the Informatica objects from development repository to testing repository and testing repository to deployment repository. Worked on placing the flat files in UNIX server by FILE ZILLA.

BI Development Activities: Analyzed the Functional Document and also different versions of functional docs to create Technical Document Template and mappings. Responsible for Extracting, Transforming and Loading data from Oracle, Sql Server & Excel And placing it into data warehouse. Clinical Trails Database Watson Pharmaceuticals, CA Informatica Developer July2010 Aug2011 Project Scope: Watson Pharmaceuticals is one of the worlds leading provider of highest-quality pharmaceuticals and health care products. The project deals with the Clinical Trails Data collected from various tests conducted on the subjects. The data is then consolidated into a Database, which is used for report generation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Analyzed design documents for Informatica mappings. Developed complex mappings using Informatica Power Center Designer to transform and load the data from various source systems like Flat files, SQL Server, Oracle and loading to Oracle target database. Trend Analysis Data Mart Hartford Insurance, USA Informatica Developer Jan2009-June2010 Project Scope: To build a data mart to identify the most profitable or potentially profitable customer for future interaction and to perform claim analysis to gauge claims processing efficiency. Risk modeling for risk measures which can then be used to calculate the right premium amount. This included technical architecture design, data extraction, metadata management, and integration of mapping and loading of target tables.

Project Scope: Campus Federal Credit Union has various employees in Credit & Funding like Sr. Credit Officers, Credit & Officers, Funders and Process Executives. The objective of this project was to design and build Data Mart for all the details of employees like number of hours worked, number of Deals processed and Amount financed by each employee. Based on these details company used to give the incentives and other benefits to the employees. Using these Facts and Dimensions they analyze the performance of the employees in various reports, which were generated by BI team.

Role & Responsibilities:

Customized several delivered ETL mappings per requirements. Technical Communications with the client which includes the understanding the requirement of the client in the architecture, environment setup and ETL process in the Development and Testing Environment. Created Source and Target Definitions in the repository using Informatica Source Analyzer and Warehouse Designer. Identified source systems, connectivity, tables, and fields, ensure data suitability for mapping. Designed and developed complex Informatica mappings using expressions, aggregators, filters, lookup and stored procedures to ensure movement of the data between various applications.
