Target Group: 2nd year students of Business Administration and
Marketing

Number of participants: 5 students per partner university


8 German students

Theme: Concept for a Brand Day in cooperation with Mercedes-Benz


The one-week program consists of workshops, lectures,
excursions and social activities. The concepts developed
by groups of international students will be judged by a
jury and the best concept will be awarded a prize.

Price: 150 Euros per student (including accommodation, transport,


all meals as mentioned in the program, social activities)

Accommodation: located in Schwäbisch Hall, 20 kilometers from Künzelsau

• students: Youth Hostel Schwäbisch Hall

• tutors: Hotel Scholl (recommended)

Transport: Daily Bus shuttle from Schwäbisch Hall to Künzelsau

Task: “Create a concept for a Brand Day in cooperation with Mercedes-
Benz China. Target group of such a Brand Day are (especially new)
employees of Daimler. They shall get acquainted with the core values of
the brands Mercedes-Benz, smart, AMG and Maybach. You can be as
creative as possible to get the new employees in touch with the core
values of Mercedes-Benz (Games, exhibitions, competitions, etc.). At the
end of the day the participants should be familiar with the brand values –
and they should have had a lot of fun as well.”

What we expect…

• Pre-Assignment
In order to familiarize themselves with the topic, the students have to
write 3 pages about the car industry and the perception of the brand
values of Mercedes-Benz in his/her country (submission deadline: March
2009)

• Presentation
Each group has to present its final concept at the end of the week
(20 minutes per group)

international coordinators until 30 November 2008
