On Courage This short story is about a nurse telling about a boy who, unknowing that nothing was going to happen to him, was ready to give his life to his sister. From the point of view of the boy, he was going to die and yet he was allowing it to happen. This showed a great bravery on his part. The story was a great plot and yet not a very difficult thing to understand. It was very enjoyable and interesting. The story gives an immensely valuable lesson.

A Simple Gesture In this story a person saved another persons life by just doing a small work and giving a small token of help and brotherhood. The story demonstrates with an example how youre every single, small or big, gesture matter to such an extent as to saving someones life. And also it gives a lesson that if ever you ask about why you have to live then just think of all the things you can do and have done. This story was a very meaningful one and extensively good and valuable.

Start With Yourself This story emphasizes upon the need to change you yourself before intending to change anything else. And that only if you are able to change yourself then you can change the whole world no matter how difficult the task may be. This the story describes through the example of a man who starts from the wrong direction and tries to change the world before his town, his family, his home, his country and above all himself. The story tries to put to our minds that you must bring an upheaval in yourself to create one elsewhere.

The Animal School This story tries to explain that no one is like someone else and that not all fingers are the same and that every one may have his own unique and has his own special abilities. So you must not try to become somebody but demonstrate the gorgeous things in your own personality. This story gives these lessons in a form of a fable which stimulates interest and better comprehension. Understanding of this story will eliminate all possibilities of inferiority complex and any other psychological problems. Showing that no animal can do anything that some other animal can do, the story can inscribe upon our mind that we are unique in our own way.

Why I Chose My Father to Be My Dad This story tells us how a father is the origin of our base and ideas and school of thought. The story does this in a form of autobiography and if interpreted correctly will enable us to understand the importance of parents especially fathers. The story is written in such a form that it has formed a very interesting type of lesson due to the event described in end. The writer also tells how one is worried about ones own children.

Just Say It Sometimes it is quite difficult for you to tell your emotions to someone important to you and this very thing is described in the story. In the story a father is faced with a task to say the easiest yet the most difficult thing to his son: I love you. The story tells in a very understandable way that saying that you care is the best way of caring for some one. People like siblings, parents and especially children are the ones that need this treatment. This story also cries out for itself a clear position in memory.

What You Are Is As Important As What You Do This story shows how you demonstrate your original self and personality in every single thing you do and show. Every wrong turn shows that you do not know the way. The story emphasizes about the important of ethics in all situations. In the story a father tells the truth even in the outward opportunity of telling a lie. Thus the story is a very important one for ones ethics and moral values and is even better in gaining implementation on this law through its small size and length and no difficult vocabulary.

All the Good Things This story is about a boy named Mark. His teacher liked him above all of his students. Mark talked incessantly so once his teacher put tape on his mouth. Then when Mark grew up, he became a soldier and died in a war. During school the writer, the teacher, had once made all the students write all the good things about each other. On the time of marks death the teacher found out that mark and all his fellows had treasured that one event in their memories.

You Are a Marvel The story tells that every child is a very precious thing and is capable of doing wonders. This story also combats the idea of war and hostility. The story says that someone who can be molded into any form is capable of and deserves being called a miracle and a marvel thus when he grows up he must be avoidant of harming anyone else who like him is marvel. The story uses no markedly difficult words but does contain a very deep meaning.

I Love You, Son In this story a fathers point of view is shown: how he craves for the company of his son and how much he worries about him thus in a way shows his love. The short story is written without any difficult words yet also describes the amount of useless activities the new young generations has got into. It also accentuates upon the need of teenagers to mix up with their father and create a little less formal relationship.

I Am a Teacher Being an educator is not a big task but completing your duties as a teacher is a very big one. This story I Am a Teacher Tells us that who so ever, try to educate students, tries to reveal the truth, and try for improvement of students is a teacher. He is the one who makes students able to survive in the world. Teachers names and faces may be forgotten but his teachings and lessons would not be. So, respect your teachers and make them feel proud of you. The story also tells that a teacher always supports you in everything. Although the story contains many names unfamiliar to many yet it is a good attempt.

Did The Earth Move For You? This story is about a girl who became very ill but recovered due to the power of belief only and for which all she did was to imagine. This story stresses upon the fact that man can do anything if he just believes he can. This thing is also evaluated in the movie kung-Fu panda if you have had a chance of seeing it. Being a very deep story and containing many very difficult words the story was fighting a losing battle over a large spiritual and psychological field. An over-eccentric psychologist once said that man could spin the world in opposite direction only by believing that he could do it. Nevertheless it was a gorgeously plotted story.
