Since the early 1970s, there have been numerous systems synthesis projects developed and imple- mented by Heinz College students that have made signifcant impacts on local, national and international communi- ties. These projects have covered a wide range of issues including transportation services for the elderly, studies on prison populations, neighborhood revitalization, feeding the hungry and sustainable development.
