1000/For a degree in MS in Renewable Energy the student must mustComplete the total 38 credits, Pass all courses individually with at least in D grade, Have minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5.

MS in Renewable Energy Technology

At the time of admission, a student has to pay a sum of Tk.18,000/= [Registration/Admission Fee + 1 Semester Fee + Course fee (14 Credits) + Co curriculum fee + Caution money] The above mentioned caution money is refundable after the successful completion of the course.

Others The registration is valid for 3 years after the date of registration. After successful completion of the course, all the students will be awarded a certificate showing GPA and transcript showing details of grades obtained in various semesters. The IRE authority will resolve any other points not mentioned in this document. Application for admission implies agreeing to abide by all rules and regulations of the IRE and also future decisions of the IRE.

MS Program in Renewable Energy Technology The Institute of Renewable Energy, established by the University of Dhaka by converting the erstwhile Renewable Energy Research Centre is pioneer in doing research and education in the field of Renewable Energy Technology in Bangladesh. In order to produce efficient and qualified manpower in this field we should provide state-of-the-art knowledge to our young generation in the country so that they can obtain world of opportunity for jobs in this field at home and abroad. For generating manpower in the field of Renewable Energy Technology and to cater to the growing demand of time, the Institute of Renewable Energy has taken up a timely step to introduce an MS program in Renewable Energy Technology of 18 months duration. A group of highly qualified teachers and scholars in the Institute has been making resentless effort to provide quality education in this field. We believe that this noble venture will perpetuate in materializing the goal of imparting quality education to our students.

Candidates should have minimum CGPA 2.5 out of 4.0 (or 2nd class approved by the equivalence committee of IRE)

Application forms will be available at the office of IRE between 10:00am to 4:30pm from 1st to 25th August 2011 by payment of Tk.500 /- in cash (non-refundable). Candidates will be required to collect and submit the application forms duly filled in at the office of the IRE within the above mentioned time.
