The workers will be divided into certain group. Both of these structures will make the Prada and Jimmy Choo to make some group that consists of certain members. Both companies have to classify what characteristics that they want in the group or workers can form the group by themselves. For example: Prada will divide the organizations into group that based on area or location such as USA, Canada and Asian. For Jimmy Choo, it will divide the workers from multi-functional into a group based on project. Therefore these two structures evolve the grouping in its managerial.

When they have dividing the group, then each group will be controlled by a manager. Both of these companies have to put a manager in each group they were form. The manager will control the group and lead them into the companies main goal. For example: Prada put a manager in Asian department that will control the submanagers from each places in Asian area. Same as Prada, Jimmy Choo Ltd also have to put a manager in the team that it was form. The manager will lead the members to complete the project as the companies expected.

Prada was applied the geographical departmentalization management. in their

Jimmy Choo was applied the projectbased matrix structure in their management.

By using this type of structure Prada can put all the same specialists in a department that will be controlled by a manager. For example: Pradas manager from Johor, Melaka, Perak and Kuala

Differ from Prada, Jimmy Choo will put multi of departments into a group and will be conducted by a project

manager. For example: Jimmy Choos manager from Consumer Department, Product Department and Operation Department will be in a group for a project that will be lead by only a project manager.

Lumpur will be in one department which is we call it as Malaysia

The departments that were divided by Prada are based on the different locations. It will consider about how many manager in one country. Prada will ensure that their product will be spread into many locations. For example: Nowadays, Prada have spread its branches in whole over the world by a wide range that controlled by different managers such as Asian Department Department manager, manager, European USA

Jimmy Choo only will integrate all the functional departments into a group based on the varieties of activities in each department that help in the project they will build. For example: The Sales department will combine with other department such as Financial and Marketing

department in a project.

However they also have permanent unit that may do their same function in the project such as Human resource and Marketing. Some functional departments maybe will do different function based on the specific project. This functional departments also can do the same job for the other project if they wish or they can reconstructs the team. For example: Suppose Jimmy Choo Ltd wants to develop a new product such as new design of sandals that they call as a special project, so Jimmy Choo will create a team that consist of many functional departments that will work for the project. After the project was done, the team members will go back to their permanent functional jobs.

The similarities of these two cultures are that both of them are based in selective individual characteristics in forming a group and relationship between workers. This is because both of these cultures particularly have to search the acceptable characteristics that can suit with the certain unit. For example: Prada have applied the personal culture that form as cluster form that the workers will combine with the person that they think suit with them. While Jimmy Choo also will looking into personal capability that the person have to meet the task given from the project.

Both of these cultures also give opportunities to everyone in the company to involve by the fair way. Because of they do not selecting workers by the ranking or status, but they choose from the natural ability in themselves. For example: Workers in Prada will consider the people that truly have the ideal characteristics to be combining in the team. However in Jimmy Choo company, they will look into the peoples expertise that can help the team. There are no bias in selection.

For example: Cooperation between workers in Prada was based on the individual characteristics itself. Sush as a worker comfortable to work with another one worker, then they will cooperate because they have same characteristics.
