Conclusion

CASTOR and CONSTOR casks have been successfully developed, manufactured and delivered for transport and interim storage of spent fuel and high active waste. These casks fulfil both the requirements for:
type B(U) packages according to IAEA regulations and the requirements covering different accident situations to be assumed at storage sites
