Dir ectors note

Galleri Kaya has started its journey on 28th May 2004 with a professional commitment to work in our creative arena. We have already had 60 Art Exhibitions, 4 Art Camps (at home & abroad) and 1 Art Workshop to our credit, which earned a good response from the Artists, Art Connoisseurs and Media. We are already planning to hold seminars & exchange programs besides holding exhibitions and having a regular display of artworks. From its inception we assumed few responsibilities with vigor and professionalism. As we look back,- the list of solo and group exhibitions reminds us that we tried our best to combine and present the various trends active in our art scenario. Without prejudice, we tried to asses a particular initiative on its pure intellectual and creative appeal to us or to its relevance in our reality or time and to connect the endeavor to the wider audience . In 2010 we have started our publications wing styled as KAYABOOK. Bangladesh art scenario has gone thru many stages of development and kept changing towards to be linked with the global arena. We like to contribute whatever we can, to be linked with the wider audience. We sincerely hope you have enjoyed the different initiative of this summit. Looking forward. Warm regards. Goutam Chakraborty Director Galleri Kaya
