Understand usage data and compatible applications
AppClarity leverages Microsoft Configuration Manager to instantly obtain an accurate picture of all deployed applications. Each software install is instantly analysed to determine if it is used, occasionally used or unused. It will map out-of-date and incompatible installations across your estate. select which applications they require under the new OS. Application compatibility is automatically handled, with newer versions installed if required.

Keep data safe

Nomad Dynamic Data Storage allows user data to be saved to peer machines eliminating any need for local servers. Nomad Enterprise dynamically elects a peer to store the data and once the OS migration is complete, the data is reinstalled back from the peer. Data is only retained on the peer during the migration process and is deleted when migration has concluded.

Clean up IT environment and ensure computer health

Unused licenses can be harvested from machines using a policy-based approach. When a license is unused it can be reclaimed automatically or with user consultation. WakeUp determines computer health through 27 health checks which are performed on each PC prior to migration to maximize the number of PCs which will be candidates for zero-touch migrations.

Wake up PCs for scheduled non-disruptive migration

Wake-on-LAN instantly powers on and patches PCs out of hours so that workers productivity is unaffected. This means a zero-touch Windows 7 migration including reinstalling the preselected applications on users machines. WakeUp will power down the machine once deployment is complete and power up the machine in the morning so it is ready for immediate use.

Shop for Opersating System upgrades:

Shopping gives users an easy-to-use wizard to schedule migration or deployment themselves. Users can schedule the migration out-of-hours or at a time when it is convenient to them so it does not disrupt their work or productivity. Also IT can shop for an upgrade on behalf of a group of users.

Dynamic election
The most appropriate PC from each branch is automatically selected to receive the data. If the elected PC is powered-off, even half-way through a download, a different PC is elected automatically allowing the deployment to continue and complete seamlessly.
