Experience
UCLA Neuro-Engineering Research
September 2008 - Present Researcher Los Angeles, CA
Currently conducting research under Professors Dejan Markovic and Jack Judy at UCLA. This research is
dedicated to applying state-of-the-art engineering technologies to enhance brain research and the treatment of
neurological disorders. The engineering technologies being employed include micromachining, MEMS,
microfluidics, microprobes, microprobe arrays, microcoils, integrated circuits, and embedded networked sensors.
Additional efforts are directed at improving the performance and reliablilty of established neuroengineering
applications. My work consists mainly of converting neural spike sorting algorithms into hardware that can be
used for real-time sorting and feedback. This is done using Matlab Simulink Synplify DSP toolset.
