Ensure all PPE is in place & working effectively. Do not use a broom or vacuum to clean up suspect area. This will cause the contaminants to become airborne. Use appropriate means of completing job safely after assessing. i.e.: Wet down suspected area to keep down dust and airborne particulates. Utilize a 10% bleach solution. Assess electrical equipment to ensure no water is to enter this equipment. Remove all suspect material after treating appropriately. i.e.: Remove all waste material with a wet cloth/towel. Once finished mop & sponge down area with disinfectant solution. Utilize a drop sheet under the crate to capture contaminants. If any animals/rodents/unidentified substances, etc. exist, spray down with disinfectant solution liberally prior to removing. Dispose of all cleaning materials in a double bag, including drop sheet, while still wearing PPE. Dispose of all donned PPE in the required method or as above mentioned. All plastic bags must be identified as hazardous waste. Contact CMT Tony Kafer #4308/EPCOR for safe disposal of bagged substances. Site phone 4400, offsite phone 780-731-4400. Radio CMT#1.
