REPAIR SERVICES:

VII.
WARRANTY The warranty period for both US and Canada is 90-days on-site plus a 9-months return to factory parts warranty. This warranty will include defects in material and workmanship under normal use effective from the date of shipment to the end user customer. Parts covered during the 9-month warranty should be returned to Printronix for repair. The warranty period for Europe, Middle East and Africa is one year return to factory. This warranty will include defects in material and workmanship under normal use effective from the date of shipment to the end user customer. The Printer and/or any constituent part thereof (Printronix manufactured only) determined by Authorized Service Provider to be defective during the warranty period will be repaired provided the printer (a) has proof of date shipped, (b) has been properly installed and maintained, and (c) has not been damaged, subjected to misuse or abnormal operation or altered or improperly configured, installed or repaired by unauthorized personnel or others in a manner which Authorized Service Provider reasonably determines to have adversely affected performance or reliability. Liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective part. Repair or replacement of the part thereof shall neither extend nor decrease the warranty period. NOTE: Damage due to misuse, abuse or that caused by common carrier during transit is excluded under this warranty.

Note: The Level 1 Spares provide 90% serviceability and combined with the Level 2 Spares, the serviceability goes up to 95%. Combine that with the Level 3 Spares to provide complete product field support. The recommended tools, consumables and spares list, including applicable repair pricing are attached in the following pages for reference information and planning.
