Sta Clara Power Corporation ...... a new beginning

Sta. Clara Power Corp. (SCPC) is a dynamic independent power producing corporation with preference in hydro power development. Through the privatization program of the Philippine government's Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corporation (PSALM), SCPC's winning bid paved the way for it's acquisition of the 1.2 MW Loboc Mini-Hydro Power Plant in the island province of Bohol. This officially launched SCPC as a new force in the power sector business.

SCPC is related with the Sta. Clara International Corporation which is one of the country's leading AAA construction firm involved in construction of hydro power plants, provision of base load diesel driven generators and numerous infrastructure projects by the Philippine government, private sector, as well as construction jobs in the Middle East.

STA. CLARA INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION

The humble beginning started in 1976, originally named Sta. Clara Trading Construction Company (SCTCC). Initially it offered services for equipment trading and rental, as well as subcontract works to major construction projects. Upon continuously building a good reputation in the industry, by 1990, the company's growth must be sustained. Hence, it's expansion into a fully registered corporation now known as Sta. Clara International Corporation. The objective then was to become a major force in the construction industry especializing in equipment intensive works. Since then, we have continued to expand our capabilities to encompass earthworks, roads, bridges, tunnels, dams, utilities, buildings, and horizontal directional drilling. Having a blend of qualified experience and enthusiasm in the management and control of the operations, and with close relationships and affiliations to International specialists in the full spectrum of construction, we are confident that we are well placed to meet future challenges with quality assured professionalism, dynamism, value, and service

Hydropower Service Contracts were signed with the Department of Energy for the develop ment of twelve (12) potentials sites with an aggregate installed capacity of 80 Megawatts which includes the following potentials:

The Catuiran Mini Hydro Electric Plant Project is located in Naujan, Oriental Mindoro approximately 150 kilometres south of Manila. The site can be reached by crossing the Verde Island Passage from Batangas to Calapan by roll-on roll-off ferry boats. Being isolated from the National Grid, the 8MW Catuiran Mini Hydr o Project will help ease the islands dependence on costly electricity from diesel generating plants.

Cantakoy 8 MW Mini Hydroelectric Project

Danao, Bohol Designed as a pondage type mini hydro project by harnessing the Wahig-Inabanga River, located at the north-eastern part of Bohol Island approximately 92 kilometres from the capital city of Tagbilaran.

A series of three cascading high to medium head mini hydropower projects that harnesses the headwaters from the Mt. Pulag Rangethe highest peak in the Cordilleras. Total aggregated output from the three mini hydro power projects tops 24.5MW capacity. Further development of potentials in the area can produce a total output of more than 50 MW for the Luzon Grid. The site is approximately 150 kilometers from the summer mountain city of Baguio.

9 MW Manupali Mini Hydroelectric Project

Valencia City, Bukidnon The run-of-river mini hydropower project will harness the Manupali River which emanates from the Mt Kitanglad National Forest Park. The site is relative accessible and approximately 80 kilometres from the ports of Cagayan de Oro City
