provision of law, all assessments, fees, or charges collected by the Comptroller of the Currency (A) shall be deposited into the General Fund of the Treasury and credited as offsetting appropriations to the account providing appropriations to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency; and (B) shall not be collected for any fiscal year except to the extent provided in advance in appropriation Acts. (2) FEE
RATE ADJUSTMENTS.The

troller of the Currency shall adjust the assessments, fees, and charges collected by the Comptroller in a given fiscal year such that the aggregate amount of all such assessments, fees, and charges, are equal to the amount appropriated to carry out the responsibilities of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency for such fiscal year..
