Mother Earth Versus Religion Did your religion ever taught you to love Mother Earth? Did it pontificates and exalts the significance of mother Nature in man s continuous existence? Do your bible, dogma, koran and talmud include in its basic tenets the preservation of Mother Earth and its delicate ecosystem? . If your religion is infallible, personally ordained and anointed by the omnipresent, omnipotent and all powerful knowing God, why does it failed in that regard? Does God in his infinite wisdom, inadvertently omitted the significance of Mother nature? What if after the transmission of the ten commandments, man deleted the laws pertaining on how to take care of mother nature to forego his own selfish agenda? The statistical probability of man altering the law is not improbable for man has this instinctive talent to subvert and change anything he wants for his selfish agenda. Religion has taught man to love God, exalt God and glorify God above everything else. It also laid down the laws on how humans must conduct its worldly affairs in accordance to the wishes that pleases God. Morals and code of ethics are further taught by religion for peaceful coexistence with his fellow man. Some are obsolete. Have you ever ask yourself if church rules were specifically tailored and made to suit the current needs and norms of societies and culture applicable on a particular era? If it does, then the laws laid down by religions are dynamic and not absolute. Man recognized his creator whom he only perceives in his mind. He put absolute faith in him. Religion theorize that God is there to guide and protect him even if his God is invisible, because man does need to see God literally in all his splendor and glory. Mans absolute belief on the existence of God is based on blind faith. Can man then take a big leap of faith and start to focus his attention too on his inexplicable link and bond with the one who gives him shelter, nourish him, feed him, gives him medicine and cures his illnesses and so forth. Religion propagate population explosion, with the words quoted from the Bible, go to the world and multiply.", God forgot an addendum, and let them suffer" Mother Earth s resources are depletable and not limitless. His religion with held that piece of crucial information about Earth s limitations and instead taught man to continue multiplying, for his religion said that God in his mercy will provide everything that man needs for survival. . Man does not feel responsible on the plight of his home turf. His religion otherwise convinced him of the existence of another place, where everything is paradise. Man succumbed on such crap. Heaven is his final destination as his reward if he shall live according the will of God. Man does not belong anywhere else but here on Earth. To relocate to another planet is not even an option. When will man realize his shortcomings and rectify his wrong doings and mad choices? Man and religion are in collusion to pursue their separate objectives, selfish motives and hidden agenda, with one common goal, to enrich themselves at the expense of mother Earth and the name of God. The advent of industrial revolution in the early 20th century, quantum leap and breakthrough in science and medicines, man has successfully retard its mortality rate. Late baby boomers suddenly sprouted and life expectancy tripled in recent decades Because of these recent developments man starts raping the rainforest that feeds him. Many virgin and sheltered sanctuaries were denuded to make way for agriculture, in order to keep up with the high demand for food and satiate man s insatiable appetite for destruction in the name of capital venture and exploitation.. Church is mighty glad of the sudden influx of people, it means more money in its coffers. on the other end of the line, self opportunist capitalists hired scientists to discover new technologies and alternative ways to help increase food production, decrease crop plague, and make crops resistance to pests. Man funded costly research spending millions for gene splicing, and incorporating genetically modified organisms, again in the Mother Nature Versus Religion 2

Mother Nature Versus Religion name of profit. Where does Mother Nature fit in the equation? Does man contemplate investing on research to plant and replace trees that were cut and and used? Did man encourage the use of biodegradable and recyclable products? Man are even at war with each other, to implement self regulated population growth moratorium for the sake of Mother Earth. Man filled Mother Earth with his filth by breeding like rats.. How long can Mother Nature keep up with the demand of food supply, fuel and basic services? How long will Mother Nature withstand the self destructive act of Man before hell will break loose? Religion had never taught man to love the planet where he was fashioned and where God gave him dominion above other creatures. Man should break free from the mental domination of religion and refocus his priorities. Religion pontificates the fallacy that Earth is a bad place. That Earth is thereby sentenced to be the crypt of the fallen angels and watchers who were punished and entombed for thousand years in violation of strictly non interference law in regards to meddling with human affairs, a strict directive imposed by God. Yet Earth is the reason why man is alive. It is only logical that man should feel responsible and shall to take care of the place where he is taking up his residence. Man does not belong anywhere else but here on Earth, this is where he will reside for at least a million years still into the future. He better wake up from his centuries of lethargic hibernation and perform corrective surgery to halt the complete decimation of his home planet. We come and go but what legacy would we leave to our children? What kind of environment? Earth s periodic calamities are cyclic in nature but man in his greed exacerbated the situation. Man is still mentally primitive since he learned to walk bipedal. He calls himself civilize, educated, reborn yet he is still obsess on the never ending spiral downward path to conquer, subjugate, divide, and enslaved his own kind. He never learned to look beyond himself and his egoistic perception of a master puppeteer.. He use religion to justify his actions and perverts the basic laws of Nature. When shall man learn to appreciate the gifts bestowed y Mother Nature? When shall man learn to take care of the bounty right before his eyes? What man has accomplish so far is polluting Earth and make it his personal septic tank. . Mother Nature is what sustain us all, the reason why we still exists and breath and continue to live.. It is the source of everything we need in order to live, from the air we breath, to the food we eat, clothing, medicine, shelter and for pleasure. Yet we never see and value its importance in our continuous existence. Earth s ecosytem is fragile. Man is the appointed landlord on Earth but man is remiss in his duties. He ought to be kicked or replaced, perhaps burn at the stake for being an idiot. Religion is bend on saving souls from eternal damnation. Why does man start to overhaul his principles and save the dying planet. For the sake of argument let us say, salvation is possible, but why God would save man? What man has accomplish so far, that will look good in the eyes of the Lord? So far man almost blew Earth in the 1940 s with his Atomic bomb. Man changed drastically the landscape of Earth by turning rain forests into deserts. He put a big hole in the ozone layer. He has changed the DNA make up of certain plants. The lists could go on, of how man abused his home planet. Religion is farce, it is created to manipulate man s thinking and mind set, It is created to control him. It caters only to the selfish motives and greed of few individuals and organizations in the name of commerce and perverted form of capitalism. When shall man snap out from his reverie and mental stagnation? When shall he will start to love and take care of Mother Earth, glorify and exalt her? What is Mother Earth then? A sort of convenience for Man?
