Overview: This summary note provides a high-level overview of proposed Leadership Academies to be established in: 1. Cape Town, South Africa. 2. Granada, Spain. 3. UK 4. Istanbul, Turkey. 5. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Mission: To develop leaders intellectually, Islamically, spiritually, ethically, physically and socially. Objectives:

Develop independent, critical thinkers, thriving for academic and moral excellence, and embarking on a programme of lifelong learning and service to Islam and society. Develop an Esprit de Corps of Muslim Leaders by combining traditional Islamic knowledge and global leadership skills. Develop an internationally networked Order of Young Muslim Leaders with a solid work ethic, who communicates well and are able to function in a diverse and ever-changing world. Provide internationally accepted, comprehensive programmes that give participants theoretical knowledge and practical experience.

Board of Governors: The Academy will be governed by a Board of Governors. The Chamber of Patrons: Allows for honourary recognitions, entitlement and sustainability with regard to ongoing support from our patrons. The Register of Associates (or affiliates): Is a necessary component for the achievement of academic excellence. It would allow for dual certification and accreditation of subjects, especially where the Academy does not provide certain subjects in its curriculum. It will allow for visiting lecturers and lectures, it will facilitate joint projects Academic Council: Establish curriculum, maintain standards, Draft protocols, etc. Executive Management Team (EMT): Executive and implementation responsibility Finance Enterprise Board: Respected local, national and international businessmen, entrepreneurs and professionals. The enterprise board will be responsible for the following; Establishing a Waqf Fund for the Academy. Identifying and establishing enterprises for and linked to the Academy that can generate income for the Academy. Ensuring the enterprises associated with the Academy are viable and sustainable businesses.
