You can apply for an igo pass if you live or go to school in Greater Manchester. There is an administration fee of 5 which is non-refundable. Your igo pass is valid until 31 August after your 16th birthday. How to apply 1. Each applicant needs a separate application form. Forms are available from www.gmpte.com/igo or GMPTE Travelshops. 2. All Applicants: Please provide proof of name and age which must be a birth or adoption certificate, medical card, passport or EU/EEA ID Card. 3. Make sure you fill in every section of the form following the instructions carefully. 4. Your name must be written as it appears on your proof document in order for your pass to be issued. 5. Your parent or guardian must sign Section B. 6. If you dont live in, but go to school in Greater Manchester, your school must stamp Section F. If you are unable to provide any of the documents requested above please phone 0161 244 1050.

Completed forms and payments Post your form with your 5 payment (cheque, postal order made payable to GMPTE, debit or credit card) and a photocopy of your birth or adoption certificate, medical card, passport or EU/EEA ID Card to the address shown in Section G. Do not put original documents or cash in the post. You can only make cash payment at GMPTE Online (in Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester) or Wigan Travelshop (at Wigan Bus Station). Visit www.gmpte.com for opening times. Please take your completed application form, a photocopy of your proof document and cash payment. Please note that payments cannot be taken at any other GMPTE Travelshop. Using your igo pass Always show your igo pass to the bus driver or to any other official who asks to check it during your journey. Please take care of your igo pass, as damaged or defaced passes will not be accepted and may even be confiscated. Replacements will be charged for. Never allow any one else to use your igo pass as it will be confiscated. Please allow 10 working days for your pass to arrive.
