Plywood Emporium (Bombay) was established as a family run enterprise by Mr. Vallabhdas J Panchmatia in the year 1973, and is now run by Mr. Amritlal Panchmatia (MD) and his son Mr. Vyomesh Panchmatia (CEO) M/s Plywood Emporium (Bombay) primarily is a manufacturer of Commercial and Marine grade plywood. It also imports and markets various exclusive, super luxury, high end interior decoration products that have been introduced to the Indian market for the 1st time. Apart from this, the company also imports and markets exotic Timber and Veneers and also deals in Laminates, cement sheets, wooden flooring and other interior related products. Started in Byculla where the company currently has its Corporate Office and Showroom, M/s Plywood Emporium has touched a turnover of approx. 275 million INR. The company is also an authorised dealer of brands like Anchor Plywood & Century Plywood. The company also opened up its 2nd office a retail store at Linking Road Bandra in the year 1977 M/s Plywood Emporium ( Bombay) currently employs: 1. At Byculla Office Staff of 11 people 2. At the Nagpur Factory Staff of 72 people 3. At the Haryana Factory Staff of 85 people The company launched its own brand of plywood by the name of VISHWAKARMA, which it now intends to promote. Our Vision is to become a 500 Million INR company by the year 2012 and 800 Million INR by 2015. Our Mission is to provide superior quality products and services while maintaining the cost benefit ratio thereby enabling our clients to achieve and sustain growth. M/s Plywood Emporium (Bombay) currently has a Pan India presence with a client base of over 900 architects and interior designers. All the products manufactured by the company are ISO and ISI certified. The company is also involved in a lot of Environment Saving Drives and Measures which also form a part of its corporate social responsibility. The company has over the last few years picked up over 30 students from Welingkar, Xaviers, MET, SIES - Nerul, IES - Bandra , Vivekanand Institiue Of Management, GNIMS, Somaiya and other B-Schools.
