SLM Settlement and Land Mapping

Community-Led Settlement and Vacant Land Mapping (SLM), is an innovative method of mapping conditions of informal settlements in cities.

The Mapping process, strategically engages key stakeholders: the local government and organized community groups of which women and their organizations - mainly womens savings and credit groups from urban informal settlements - comprise the core.
