Unauthorized changes made by NIA to the Final Report of the EU‐ITC Asia Trust Fund Project Final Report, 

republished by NIA without consent of lead author or organizations whose logos appear on cover. 

 
NIA’s version differs from the original as follows: 
 
1. Deletion of the title “FINAL REPORT” from top of cover page. 
2. New  cover  photo,  showing  asparagus  fields  owned  by  Swift  Co  (a  recipient  of  NIA  research 
grants) 
3. Addition  of  Kh  Supachai  as  primary  author,  and  Kh  Kunawut  as  second  author,  although  they 
made  no  direct  contribution  to  the  original  document.  Mr  Wyn  Ellis  is  now  listed  as  the  third 
author, instead of the first, as in the original. 
4. False  claim  of  copyright  statement  by  NIA  (copyright  is  owned  by  the  UN  International  Trade 
Centre, Geneva). 
5. Allocation  of  ISBN  No:  978‐974‐229‐701‐5,  registered  for  commercial  sales  via  Chulalongkorn 
University Bookshop, with barcode on rear cover, and price listed at Baht 250. 
6. Changes to the text of the Acknowledgements section, replacing ITC’s name by NIA. 
7. Under the heading ‘Project Team’, contact details for Dr Alexander Kasterine (Project Director, 
UN  International  Trade  Centre)  and  Mr  Wyn  Ellis  (National  Team  Leader)  are  deleted,  and 
replaced by Kh Supachai’s name, and an NIA employee (Kunawut Boonyanopakul) who is falsely 
listed as ‘Project Manager’ in place of Wyn Ellis (National Team Leader). 
8. Deletion  of  all  references  to  ITC  in  the  Project  Fact  Sheet  (Appendix  II),  and  replacement  of 
contact persons (Dr A Kasterine, W Ellis) with Kh Supachai, again falsely stating that Kh Kunawut 
was Project Manager. 
9. Addition of a Thai translation of the Proposed National Action Plan as Appendix VI.
