In This Season of Giving, Give a Book

B uilding a bridge from misery to hope often


can be best accomplished by the simplest of
actions such as the donation of used books to
people who lack them. This act can help spread
President-elect Barack Obama’s message of hope
and change by improving literacy in places where
books are scarce.
“Books for Africa” founded by Tom Warth has

costs about 40 cents to send a book and more than
